My wife is in Fieldstone Memory Care of Silverdale. It's brand new and it seems to be run pretty efficient considering that there's construction and everything still going on. It's a new room and it's clean, and the environment looks like it's healthy for her. The staff members are all young and new, and trying to do the best job they can. My wife is bedridden, so she's not going to be doing many activities. It's mostly just making sure she's taken care of and bathed and cleaned properly. I'd recommend it. The dining area is clean. There's cleaning staff there all the time cleaning floors and tables. It doesn't go on a day without being cleaned. It's all brand new outside and everything. Their landscaping is going along.

Fieldstone Memory Care of Silverdale was my favorite. It's the newest facility. The staff was very, very nice. They had a center area with a theater in it. In the hallway, it looked like a theater outside. It had an ice cream parlor that looked like it was from the 1940s and 1950s. The salon looked like it was from the 1950s. So everything, the theater, the salon, and the ice cream parlor would help the senior people believe that they were back in their early days, and it was done very, very nicely. The rooms were very, very nice. Everything was clean. They had an outside courtyard with a nice view of Silverdale, so that was nice. And it's all gated and locked so patients can't get out. Every staff member was very, very friendly. They all said hi to us when they walked by. My mother has been on a tour there. We did not know until we took her, but they fed us lunch and it was excellent. They weren't doing any activities when we were there, but they did invite us to come to the day that they were doing Easter decorations, but we weren't able to come to that. I like the way they treated my mother. We ate lunch in the ice cream parlor, which was one of the places that families could also reserve if they wanted family get-togethers. When they offered ice cream to my mother, she just got excited about the ice cream, and they knew she liked it. The place where you can go for family visits is really nice there. They had a couple of other rooms there, too, and I liked that.

We liked everything about Fieldstone Memory Care of Silverdale. The facility was nice. The people knew what they were talking about. The place looked nice and smelled nice. The people that work there were very knowledgeable and very engaging, not only with us but with the residents, too, even if they didn't know we were standing there. They offered a lot of amenities. They had what looked like neighborhoods like you were in an outside setting with little store shop fronts. It was very, very nice. They had crafts, they took the residents out for walks or outings, they had a salon for their hair and nails, a soda shop, and a movie theater. They had all kinds of stuff. The food smelled good, too.
