I'm in The Blakely Echo Lake. I just got here this month. The place is in very good condition. It seems to be well-run, clean, and has lots of facilities for people. There are common rooms, TV rooms, and things like that. It's in good shape, and it's a good place. I have seen a few others, but this is definitely top-tier. This is for 55+ and for low income, so I think the fact that it's serving that population is exceptionally good. It's been very positive. It's independent living, so there's no meal service; it's not applicable here. They have a lot of things going on though. They have a newsletter where they put out things, like what, where, and when. I think it's to keep people busy. I've seen the bus that they use for field trips, so I think they're really well-equipped. The value for money is excellent. This place is such a better deal for me. Part of my issue is I have more than one car, and this place has room for me to have a second car. A lot of the other places had no parking, so I found this to be better that way.

The property is kept up very well. I moved in with new carpet and fresh paint. It was very clean. The bedrooms seemed small at first but my furniture fits fine. The residents and staff have been super friendly and welcoming. I enjoy meeting a group in the morning in the coffee room. There is a growing list of activities like Bingo Friday night.

The Blakely Echo Lake was nice. What they had available wasn't really what I was looking for, but that's not their fault, so I may check back with them. It was a good visit and a nicely maintained apartment complex. So I enjoyed that one. The staff was very pleasant, and she was very helpful.
