Brookdale Meadow Springs was nice. I liked all of it. There are lots of activities and they have parties, popcorn and movies, and all kinds of stuff. The lady we met was nice and knowledgeable. She was awesome. The rooms looked good. They were very clean and not smelly like a hospital. The dining area was also nice. Then they had small outdoor spaces that people could go out and sit in, as well as walking areas.

I thought Brookdale Meadow Springs assisted living was clean, and it appears to be pretty well laid out. The staff was nice and informative. The nursing staff seemed to know what they were doing and were equipped to deal with residents of varying stages of dementia and mobility. They appeared to have the amenities that could be good for my mother. It was my first visit, and I have an appointment for Friday of next week to go back with my mother. I looked at the menu. They talked about it being really tasty, but it could have been late in the afternoon; it wasn't as impressive to me. There was a guy in there playing music, and the residents seemed to be enjoying that a lot. They also had a craft room, and they had bingo going.

I visited Brookdale Meadow Springs a few years back. They are very careful and clean, but it's older though. I wish it was a little newer, but they are very good, and it's nice. The staff members were very nice and seem like they do a very good job. The rooms are nice, but they're small. The grounds look nice. They have a parking lot, but there's not a lot of surroundings. I really just wanted someplace where my mom could go to meet friends. I want her to be friends with people and stuff like that. She's not someone who needs a lot of care right now. So, we're not ready to put her in. She's pretty self-reliant, and so Brookdale is more assisted living than I wanted. Well, the staff were very friendly, and it seemed like a nice place to be.

The staff at Brookdale was very nice, and the food was good. It was more expensive, however, because they provide nurses and staff 24/7. The rooms were nice. They have exercise and many outings and field trips.

I did not like Brookdale because they did not follow through on stuff. I was constantly down there because they were constantly messing up. I felt they lacked skill. The room was fine.

We find the staff very caring at Brookdale Meadow Springs. They have activities every single day for the residents. They have exercises. They also have a piano that anybody can play at any point in time. They have entertainment, and they have a bus that takes people on outings. We found it to be very good for people who do not have any kind of special needs. My friend has a one-bedroom apartment with a little living room, a small seat, and a kitchen with a little storage space and a microwave. It also has a bathroom with a handicap-accessible shower and a bedroom that could accommodate a double bed if needed.

The one that I did visit is Emeritus at Richard Gardens. Everybody seemed very nice. It is decorated very well, and it is clean. I had lunch there, and it was a good lunch. The food was good, and the other residents were pleasant. They helped me by showing me around the facility. It was around lunch time, and I think they were concentrating on having lunch. I think they did a have bingo, and they did have a calendar of things that were planned. I didn't ask any questions specifically about security, but it looked like there was staff available at night, and the entry looked secured. I did like the way it was decorated, and the people were nice. I met a lady and a couple that lived there for five to seven years, and they liked it.

I found Emeritus at Richland Gardens in a newspaper. The staff is welcoming. That is one of the reasons I went over there, talked with them, sat down, and went over the procedures. I have eaten there, the cooks are good, and the people are very friendly. The waitresses take care of your table as best they can. The rooms are very clean. They have exercise classes. They have people who come up and play the piano and some other music. A hairdresser onsite comes over twice a week to give haircuts and shaves. They also take the guests out in a van if they have to go shopping. They have door securities, so if the residents have to go out they need to sign out where they are going. They also have an alarm system where if someone goes out that shouldn't be out, the alarm will let them know. Someone needs to reset the alarm and find out who went out. They are very concerned about their guests and are well educated; I would rate them top notch as far as I'm concerned.

My mother is at Emeritus at Richland Gardens. My husband and I think it is very nice, but my mother doesn't like it at all. She is constantly complaining about the help, the food, and her meds. She is not a happy camper. She doesn't want to be here, so anything and everything is wrong wherever she is. What I like about this place though is that it is small and it doesn't have an odor to it when you go in. The staff seems to be relatively friendly. Granted, they don't have enough staff. They seemed to always be short in the dining room area. Anyway, the facility is adequate. The reason we picked this one is because it is close to where we live, and for the amount of times I have to go to my mother's, it is more convenient for us.

We visited the Richland Gardens. It was very nice. We wanted my mom to check into the Richland Gardens, but after they got a nursing assessment, they said that they could not provide the level of care she needed, so that’s why we have sent her backward. They had a studio apartment with the studio room and the bathroom. The facility was very large that having a private bathroom for my mom is very important. They did have studio rooms, and that was appealing to her in addition to the walk in showers. She would be able to get in and out of that very equally. They did tell us that the food was available to the residents from 7AM until 9PM if they wanted a snack or anything like that along with their meals. The staff we met was very nice and accommodating. She said that we could go back and ask to have my mom reassessed if we were interested later after my mom and her condition improved a little. The studio apartment we looked at was very clean; the public areas looked very clean and tidy. It just seemed a little crowded in the hallways where some of the public rooms were located.

Emeritus looked really nice. The facility was well maintained. The people we worked with were very nice. I talked with them a lot, and they helped me work through the process until we got to the point where Mom decided to stay home for a while longer. The staff was super friendly. I will look at this again more closely at some point in time to make a decision.

Emeritus is very clean and very family oriented. Both of my parents are there. My dad has dementia and everything there control people together. They give special care and the nurses are on top of things. They keep me very inform if anything happens. They just did very good and they are excellent. They have free bus rides a day that bring them to farms and different places. They take them to stores. If they need to go to the doctor, they bring them to the doctor.

The very first thing that you notice when you arrive at is the beautifully landscaped grounds . Almost park like in its surroundings. I was greeted at the front door by an extremely nice nurse . I have to say all of the staff was friendly from nurses to the administrator . My questions were addressed promptly. I was shown around the facility including the recreation area , Dinning room , Library . The whole atmosphere was like home not like an institution or hospital . Nice bright rooms , lovely apartments with a kid of country charm . Again every were I went staff was present wich made me feel reassured for my moms safety . I was very concerned about my mother being left alone . I have to say I left Emeritus feeling very secure in her safety and well being . When I call to check on my mom they even know my voice and greet me by name over the phone . Very impressed with the level of care and the apartment my mother has there . I have really no complaints . neither does my mom except she wants them to make brownies more often .
