My father moved into Bonaventure of Puyallup. The staff there is super, super friendly. They have good amenities and they're just so helpful and on the ball. We went to dinner last night and the medical director showed up to give my dad his pills; it's just like magic. It was amazing. It's just wonderful. They take care of you really well. They give him a button that he wears around his neck. If he needs any help, he's just got to push that and they'll be right there. When he was moving in, they came in. They spent time talking to him and introducing themselves and getting to know him. The food was good. I had tilapia there last night. A little too much pepper I think on the vegetables. They have a bowling alley and a movie theater, and activity socializing places. They were telling my dad that they had a whole calendar of activities.

We toured Bonaventure of Puyallup. It's a newer community. I like the design, the flow of it, and the fact that it is new. When we toured, they were doing different kinds of arts and crafts. They showed us the movie room where they do the movies twice a day. They've got a little bowling alley and then a cardroom. They also talked about some of the field trips to take the seniors on. I met with their new executive director and she was very nice.

We toured Bonaventure of Puyallup. It's gorgeous. The staff, they were shorthand. We were there when they served the meal. They were exceptionally good. It was very good. The food was great. It was a very clean and nice facility. I thought the entrance fee was a little too high. The facility was gorgeous.

My friend is a resident of Bonaventure of Puyallup. I never looked the whole place over, but they've got a library and they've got a coffee room, and they've got a mini-restaurant. They have kitchens and they use their kitchen even though they pay for the food they want. The food is too bad. The facility is clean. The staff was very pleasant. The rooms are OK, and the ones I've seen are small.

The tour at Bonaventure of Puyallup was good. We saw everything including memory care. We saw everything pretty much that they had to offer across the board. The staff was very much a salesman. She spent a lot of time with us and answered questions. The rooms were clean, new, and up-to-date. They had all the amenities. The food was excellent. They had an open salad bar. It was open with lots of seating. They had outdoor seating. They had functions that went on in the summer. They have a garden area that people can garden if they choose to.

We chose Bonaventure of Puyallup for my mother. It was very bright, modern, and very clean. I know that it is a new facility, so it's very updated. They have a lot of activities and resources. The staff who gave me the tour was very friendly. They seem to be keeping busy. It seemed like they had an ample staff. For amenities, there's a bowling alley, a movie theater, a library, a couple of different activity areas, a pub, a shuffleboard, and a pool table. They have like a nice outdoor courtyard area where they have barbecues.

We toured Bonaventure of Puyallup. It's very nice. They had gardening areas. They were well-kept. The apartments were smaller, and they were a lot more expensive. The person who accommodated us was very nice. My dad is in a wheelchair, and she wheeled him around. She was very knowledgeable. They had a lot of amenities, but not as many activities going on. They had a nice kitchen in the rooms, but the rooms were smaller.

My mother has been living in Bonadventure for almost a year. They are always short staffed, resulting in multiple bedsores and hospital visits. Her room is always dirty and smells bad, due to incontinence and their lack of giving her showers that we pay for. The food is terrible and the wait time to get served is sometimes over an hour. Often times when mom pulls her call light, she is not checked on for over an hour or they shut off her light and never come. She was restricted to her room just after Christmas due to a covid lockdown. 3 weeks in, she got very sick. Family was not able to visit, so we did not know how sick she was. She wheeled herself down to the front desk crying, begging for help because she was in so much pain. The facility did not think it was necessary to call 911, so the family did anyways. Turned out she had Covid Pneumonia and was admitted into the hospital for 2 weeks. When she got back home, they RAISED her rent by over $3000 per month! The facility offers great activities, but does not follow through with them. Its a classic bate and switch. For the money paid for her to be there, the care is a 1 out of 10!

Bonaventure of Puyallup was a fairly new place, and I liked them very much. However, there were no carports or garages, and it was on a very busy street. Also, it's the most expensive one I've seen, but it's a very nice and pretty place. They did not have any cottages available, so the lady showed me an apartment on the second floor with a balcony, and it was very nice. She was very accommodating and she even gave me a callback. We had lunch in a separate room there, and it was wonderful. She gave us a menu, and we could select what we wanted. The food was very good and we were very pleased.

My stepfather is in memory care, while my mom is in the independent living of Bonaventure of Puyallup. He's been there for two weeks now and the director, Nerissa, is fabulous. She is so accommodating and the rest of the staff is extremely friendly. I've only been there once and when I went walking in they're like, "Oh, Hi Bev, how are you doing?" I don't even know who they were, but they know my name. It's a brand new community. Memory care only opened up about four or five months ago. If I was over 60, I'd be living there, because they have a movie theater, a bowling alley, and their activities list is varied. It was phenomenal. So, any interest you have, they have something on the activities and there's a place for you to meet up. If you want to go to the store or whatever you want to do, you can call the front desk and they will take you there and wait for you to come back. The food looks yummy and they have an inner courtyard so that the residents are protected from the outside world. The independent living apartments are very spacious and had balconies. The maintenance people are quick that when my stepfather went in and we brought the TV, they were right there all ready to put it on the wall. No questions asked. They knew we were coming and they were Johnny on the spot.
