My father moved into The Hampton Memory Care. We chose it because of the price. We like the staff. They are amazing. The place is clean. It doesn't have any bad smells. They take very good care of the residents. They've been awesome at getting my dad's meds leveled out. When Dad went in, he wasn't very coherent. He's now talking where we can understand him. He's eating well. They're just taking very good care of him. My dad's not a picky eater, so he's eating everything they're putting in front of him.

I toured The Hampton. The people were nice. The patient-caretaker ratio was good. The facility was nice. It was an older facility but I looked more for care, and I liked the way it was laid out. They did have a lot of residents there. I liked how they separated wheelchair people from mobile people only for the fact that they have two different eating areas. So it was good. The girl who I talked to originally was not one I had interviewed with, so they gave me somebody else, but they were all really nice and quite informative. I don't believe we looked anywhere. It's a big facility and it took a while to walk around it. The dining area looked nice like a normal dining room with chairs and tables.

The staff at The Hampton Memory Care was wonderful. They're very attentive, very caring, and very invested. Their facility was a true memory care facility. Their population was more Alzheimer's and dementia. Fewer people had some/a little bit of cognitive decline issues and a little bit of short-term memory loss (which is where my father's at). So, it's not a good match at all for him. It was a small facility, which is where my likes are, but my father was not ready for that level. They provided a much higher level of care.

I toured The Hampton Memory Care. I only met the person that toured me through the facility. I didn't have any contact with anyone else and I really don't know how many actual people are there as clients. She said that someone would call me the very next day and it turned out the very next day was a couple of weeks later, so nobody contacted me right away. The facility was clean. It seemed very well organized.
