My uncle is now in Solstice Senior Living at Normandy. It's clean and nice. The apartment is clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. I don't know about their activities, but I'm sure there are lots of things. It's not something I got into. They have activities and stuff, but I couldn't tell what they are. There's a barbershop, and there's a TV room. I just got him in there, and he seems to be happy. It was the one that he was happy to get into. They have a dining room, too.

Solstice Senior Living at Normandy was a little dark and depressing. The staff was very good. They were very friendly and helpful. It was just too far away. The dining room was very nice. The food was good. They just need to brighten it up.

We went to Solstice Senior Living at Normandy and looked at their facility. It was all up-to-date, clean, nice, and quiet. The place was well organized. There were no unkempt circumstances there at all. From that standpoint, it was quite nice. They had a lot of opportunities to interchange with other members or other folks in the program, which I thought was a good thing. It was quite pleasant. It didn't have fantastic views or anything like that, but it was quite nice. You looked out on evergreen trees pretty much all the way around. The ambience was quite nice. They were very well conditioned to give us all the information that we wanted, when they're open or closed, all the local regulations, etc., of course, including a tour of the rooms and a tour of the whole facility. We enjoyed that quite a bit, and it was good to see. They mentioned that they were fairly typical size-wise and equipment-wise and the programs that they ran, even including the pricing, etc. The facility was top drawer. Everything was the best.

I love Solstice Senior Living at Normandy. The staff was adorable. I love her. It was clean. They had taken care of the place. The residents were happy, and they were engaged. You saw them in the library, watching TV together, sitting, and just being content. The staff was amazing. They jumped hurdles to see how they can be a good fit for your senior who's looking for living quarters. They're very welcoming and real. She was authentically nice. My dad tried the food. He was invited there for lunch, so he could talk to some of the residents. I would say it was good food. The facilities were clean. The laundry room was spick-and-span clean and inviting. The dining area was clean and up-to-date. It didn't look like it had been made in the 80s. The carpet and flooring were nice. The walls were nicely painted. It looked like a very comfortable large home. The kitchen was nice inside the apartment. It was clean and presentable. The patios on the first floor led out to the parking, so the residents could easily just walk directly out to their cars. The decks were all nicely cleaned. It was very warming with the trees around the deck. It was just very inviting.

I did a tour of Solstice Senior Living at Normandy Park. Their staff person, Dave, was very friendly. He called me before my appointment and convinced me that a personal tour would be much better than a virtual tour. I think Solstice had an association with home care givers, but I think they were outside people. They had a group of different companies that you could choose from, and they would help you find someone to give you the home care. I think that's how it works. The apartments were fine; it's an older facility. They had a pretty busy calendar of events. It was one place that didn't offer transportation to downtown, where were my doctor is located. It's a fair distance, and they said they offer transportation to people, things in the area, and for shopping. The staff was friendly, and I was introduced to a few of the staff members. He invited me to call and tour again when I was more interested. He suggested I come for lunch when I am more serious about thinking of moving.

Solstice Senior Living at Normandy is great. My husband and I love it here. They have lots of activities, like walking tours, bus tours, games, teas, and socials. The food is good. The staff is great, too. We're still so busy moving in and having health issues that we haven't participated in too many activities. Their activities are mostly socials, and they're great.

The lady who was at the front desk of Solstice Senior Living was very nice. They were all very pleasant and very nice. The balcony looked like somebody could climb onto it very easily, but the rooms were nice and pleasant. The staff was great when we talked to them. They were pleasant. We were shown a studio and a one-bedroom. Overall, the place was nice, newer, and pleasant-looking. It was also an open space. For example, the staff at the front desk could see what was going on and they could keep an eye on the residents from there. The manager could also see everything from her office, which was nice.

Solstice Senior Living at Normandy was a nice place. The staff was okay and the food I had there was good. They had similar amenities as the place we chose for my mom where you could get your hair done or watch movies, and things like that.

We wanted to be very careful when choosing a place for my sister and ultimately she would make the decision when she came to town. We looked at so many Senior Living facilities in the area for her. They all offered something different and prices varied from place to place. She chose Solstice because it was a warm and friendly place and the people that lived there seemed to really like it. My sister has lived there for years now and calls it home. The apartments are nice and the staff is great! The activities are fun and engaging and there is always a little something for everyone. The food is really good too. Carla is in the office and is supportive of the people that live there and her staff, but also takes time if I have questions. She seems to really care about the people that live there and her staff. They all greet me with a smile and friendly hello. I would highly recommend Solstice in Normandy Park.

Solstice Senior Living at Normandy is a very large place. I don't want to stay at a huge place. I couldn't understand someone at the lunch table because it was so noisy. I would not want to stay there. Nevertheless, the meals were included, the staff members were very nice, and the place was very clean. I was impressed. For that type of place, it was very nice. They were very nice and very kind to me. They showed me around. I would recommend it to a person who wanted that type of living.

Solstice Senior Living at Normandy seemed professionally run, and people seemed to be treated well. The place was clean. It looked like they had several activities. It was my second choice. The person I went with was excellent. The apartment was small, which was fine. It had a peaceful view.

Solstice Senior Living at Normandy is very tired. For the price, it needed upgrading. There's also a lack of activities. The staff was friendly enough. The rooms weren't spacious and lacked closet space. One 8-foot closet for two people is inadequate. They served meals which you have to pay for. They had a small library, and a treadmill in the middle of the activities room.

I visited Solstice Senior Living at Normandy. They have a unique offer which they call, "three thousand reasons to move," which is a $3,000 grant to be used anyway you need. It cleared almost all of the startup fees they have, and they pick up all the utilities and heat, which in Washington was a considerable package. So, we signed up with them, and we will be moving on June 30. Their food is all provided, very good, and high quality. We got a one-bedroom, one-bath apartment. They have a community room and only a microwave in the unit, but they have a full-size refrigerator. They have an exercise facility and a small gym, and we're only 15 minutes away from our PCP, which is a plus for us. The residents are quite happy to be there, and I think we'll be happy there. They don't seem to have a pool for walker exercise. They have bus facilities to take you to any store or shopping center.

My mother is in here and we are very pleased. She transitions very well. I chose it because it is clean and I like the people that I meet when I first come in. It is a smaller community, and people care about one another. The residents are delightful. I can say that 70% or more are very content and happy there. I will recommend them.

It seemed very nice, my friend is very happy, but they have a buy-in prior to moving in, and she is concerned about that. The staff was very nice and very welcoming, and the food was nice. The apartments seemed nice; the studio was a big square, and it was unfurnished. They have bus service to doctor's appointments and to go shopping, and they have an onsite beauty salon, an exercise room, a library, and a TV room which shows movies; that was nice.

I had lunch here. I liked the food and everything about it. The staff was very friendly, and I talked to the sales manager the most. It’s clean and spacious. The dining area seated four to a table, and they had a lot of good activities.

We went here, and I love their rooms and also their bathroom. I love the outside access they had. I just didn’t like the pushiness of the person that was trying to sell that was driving us both crazy.

It is a good place for people like my mom. It's very nice and very clean. It is really lovely. It has beautiful grounds. They have activities and stuff like that. They would give their residents rides to the senior center, to their medical appointments, etc. Meals are good and the people there are great. If you want to have assisted care on the side, you can have home health care people come in. They can help you with bathing and showering. They can even take their residents to dinner if needed. They can give you assistance in meds.
