Rooms are kept clean and uncluttered so residents can’t trip and fall over unneeded objects. Bathroom is cleaned regularly. Staff checks on my dad often, speak with him and interaction is great. If I have a question, the staff is always ready to speak with me. My dad particularly likes the older western movies. He is excited to be able to go outdoors (once the weather warms up) to the patio and be able to sit on the lawn chairs and just be outdoors. Overall, the staff, nurses are all very friendly as well as the office staff......I have lots of questions that they are available to answer. Laundry can be an issue, at times, with some items not coming back. Again, the staff is always happy to answer my questions and find his clothing! Thank you for all you do to make my dad feel at home! Food, he is a big eater and could have larger portions!

The ONLY reason this place is getting 2 stars is because the medical techs, CNA, LPN, housekeeping, and all but two RN were great with us and caring to my father. In a 2 1/2 weeks NEVER saw a medical doctor. NOT ONCE and we were there 12 hours a day. The PA was worthless and only saw him 3 times. His accent was so heavy and wearing a shield and a mask we were unable to understand most of what he said. My dad had tumors popping up ALL OVER his body. For 4 days laid in bed moaning and saying I have pain. My dad NEVER EVER complained of pain. He once fell off a 36 foot tank and got up, and finished harvesting, after harvest went to the dr and found his ankle to be crushed and broke. So for 4 days I would tell everyone and anybody who would listen that dad needed more than Tylenol. After 4 days and me threatening to go to their corporate office was 5 mil of OXI was prescribed. Then I said Oxi wasn't strong enough. Another two days trying to keep my dad comfortable. One day (14th of September) their corporate offices were down and the ONLY WAY my dad was proscribed morphine was because I told the RN that I wanted to speak to someone from corporate to take them in to see how much pain my dad was in. He kept turning and reaching out to us saying HELP PAIN. Then before I left that night, I asked RN Wayne what time dad was going to get the morphine. Nurse Wayne said he wasn't going to give it to him, only the Oxi. What the heck!!!! Does he like seeing these guys in pain!!?!?!? Did he enjoy watch my dad moan and asking for help??? When I got into the facility, the morning RN said he was not given morphine all night and the night aid said he was moaning and saying pain all night. She said she gave it to him at 7:00 am on the 15th and he was resting peacefully. RN Wayne needs to be fired or sent through compassionate training. Then we have RN Jared. My dad had Alzheimer's and we believe he was full of cancer. Never had a biopsy, because he couldn't be moved to a clinic. But, he was at the end of life. On the 13th when I got into dads room around 7:30 am, the CNA was trying to wake dad up. He was non responsive. So then I tried for about 10 minutes and could not wake him up. So I called the family. My brother, mother, niece, granddaughter, husband and I were in the room. Then my sister-in-law came and RN Jared was told there were 6 people already in the room. Now my dad was unable to leave the room and he did not have a roommate. Jared came back and was kicking FAMILY out of the room if a man during his last days of life. The supervisor RN came in the next day and took moms complaint. She let his supervisor know. Then the family was afraid to come in and visit. Jared kept walking past the room looking in, so we closed one of the curtains so he couldn't see in. Then my homemade mask was unable to be worn. I wore that for 3 weeks straight with no issues. Now I needed to wear THEIR mask. We also wore shields. They were being worn my all visitors. The same shields. They said they wipe them down each time. Hey.... The corona virus is so small that there is no way they could get it if someone was sick. I would NEVER recommend this facility to anyone. The dr, PA and the two RNs are worthless and made the stress of watching a strong farmer become weak and feeble even worse instead of comforting. Oh and my father got bed sores from the type of bed mattress they had him on. He was unable to walk or even stand, sit for more than 5 minutes. Two days prior to him passing they finally got him an air bed. He should have been in an air bed from the beginning.

As a wife of a residence who has been living here for 13 months I have been more than pleased with his care. Whenever I am not a the facility I have no worries regarding my husband and the way he is being taken care of. When I call to check on him I get a very quick response from the nurses and the staff. The facility is always decorating and involving the patients with holidays. The staff has become like family to me. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. There is always activities going on for the patients such as: bingo, church activities, holiday involvement, communities dancer, local singers lots of other activities are being offered. If you ever find yourself/family in need of a care facility I would recommend lake Ridge Memory Care in Moses Lake, WA.

After traveling nearly 300 miles to visit a relative in this facility we were told she wasn't there. When we discovered she was, in fact, there we were told they could not let us know she was there "Because of HIPAA". I knew that to be untrue. There is nothing in HIPAA requiring facilities to withhold whether or not your loved on is in the facility. There is, certainly,no requirement that they lie to you about whether or not your relative is there (https://www.aclu.org/technology-and-liberty/faq-access-patient-information-friends-and-family). We began to suspect the POA may have directed them to lie to potential visitors and they were simply following POA wishes. We have since been informed the POA did not instruct them to deny access. We did, eventually, get to see our relative. Reportedly, the POA told them to let us see her immediately upon learning that we were in town to visit her. One would think they would have contacted the POA before telling out of town relatives their loved one wasn't at the facility. I, personally, would not want a loved one to be anywhere they would be denied visitation without due process. However, if you want to put someone in a facility where the staff do not understand HIPAA and will deny family from seeing their dying relatives, it sounds like this is the place for you.
