My grandmother lives at the Aegis of Lynnwood. They have a courtyard with all grassy areas and a garden. I've been to their outdoor area to visit her most recently during COVID, and it was very nice. The staff members are doing a fine job. She has a very nice room, but she's almost 100, so she had to downsize to a studio. She used to have a room off of the courtyard. She had a patio that went out into their center courtyard area, and it was very nice. They have lots of activities, they post pictures, and they communicate with the families very well.

the leadership is solid. It appears as if they are focused on maintaining high standards with the facility and Fed/state requirements. The staff is incredibly friendly and caring. Everyone I've met is committed to delivering quality customer care. The one issue my mom complains the most about is the food. Two things, not enough protein and such very bland taste. Aegis might want to put some low sodium seasoning on the table. Also, the blinds covering the sliders of the first floor residents are cheap. Currently, my mom has approximately 8 vinal pannels that are missing. I don't have a solution for the facility but fully intend to incur the expense to put up nicer blinds.

Points climb as residents decline, raising costs considerably., due to more work on part of caregivers. Schedules of caregivers confusing. Can't rely on one or two to take care of or shower resident. Label all clothes as laundry for many can disappear.

My visit at Aegis of Lynnwood was pretty good; I was satisfied with it. The people that I met, I got good answers from, and I felt okay about that. The rooms were roomy and comfortable looking. There was a little get-together, and I also stepped into the movie theater while they were watching a movie. The woman that I talked to spent a lot of time with me, answering my questions and giving me a lot of information, so that was also very important.

All of the staff was very kind. They were quick to respond to any questions I had. They treated those living there like family(a lot of them were actually family). Surprisingly a lot of ethnic people working there, but they were all incredibly friendly and personable.
