I chose Prestige partly because of cost, but also because of their manager who has been the most outstanding. He was on top of everything and was the only one out of all the places who actually called me personally. The independent living is where my in-laws are and their costs include one meal a day with the option of purchasing additional ones on a monthly basis or one at a time. The apartment includes housekeeping where somebody comes in and dusts the carpet, scrubs the toilet, and does the beds and the linens. There is a washer and dryer across the hall from them that is free to use. It includes cable and free internet, and they have a little patio outside of their apartment. It also includes shuttle service around town to get to doctors' appointments. They also do little field trips and that kind of stuff around the area. They have a walk-in shower where you can actually take a walker into the shower if you need to. It is really nice.

I liked that Prestige Senior Living Monticello Park was accessible. It's all in one and they could have provided me with everything. The rooms were just a little small. They had transportation, laundry, and house cleaning once a week. They had a lot of activities. It's very clean and very nice.

I toured Prestige Senior Living Monticello Park. The facility houses both independent and assisted living. They just had sides, like the one side is independent living and then the other side is assisted living. The combination of the two shares the dining and all the amenity pieces, so it's a shared building. The gal was very helpful. She got some residents to allow us to look at their place. They didn't have any to show as far as vacancies. They had a little alcove area that was the library. They had a mini shuffleboard thing. They had a communal laundry room. They don't have laundry in the suites, so it was the laundry room that everybody shared. They had a dining room. And when we got into another larger room, there were some folks playing bingo and stuff. It looked like a gathering room where they could host different things that they might do. The gal that we met was awesome. She is very connected to people. She's fairly new. She's only been there, she said, six months. She is very thorough and very easy to talk with. She's very personable and very down to earth. Because we're more on the younger side of the age group, we probably would be more apt to just go strictly with independent living and then approach assisted living when it's our turn. They have activities that you can sign up for and things to keep you entertained. They have transportation available at different times. They have calendars you can sign up for and stuff. They said that if you ran out of money, then you can go on to the Medicaid level and then they don't boot you out.

I toured Prestige Senior Living Monticello Park. The manager was wonderful. She comped us a meal there, and it was really nice to be able to see what the meals looked like. That's kind of important. We got to see a bunch of rooms. The seniors there were wonderful. They offered us to be able to go into their personal living spaces to look at their units, which was really wonderful. The manager had a sit down with a senior lady that was very, very informative, and she was really wonderful. The manager herself was very informative. The meal was wonderful, too.

The only thing I probably didn't like about Prestige Senior Living Monticello Park was not having your own washer and dryer in the apartment. Other than that, it's a nice place to go for somebody who needs to downsize. Everybody was very pleasant, sweet, and nice. It seemed clean. Somebody was just moving out, so those weren't as clean, but the lobby and all that areas looked fine. It's a little bit dark, but it's fine. It's not what you call modern, but it's just going to be up to the person. It's a little aged, but that seems to be what they go for. The area around it is homey though. The staff were very knowledgeable and very helpful. They're always willing to work with us, sat with us, and spent time with us. They were great. We stayed there for dinner one night and the food was very good.

My friend will be moving into Prestige Senior Living Monticello Park. The walkthrough was really great. We enjoyed the whole atmosphere of the place. It smelled clean, it was homey, and it's just very enjoyable to be in there. On every floor they had a puzzle station where people could put puzzles together. They had a lot of activities going on, and a really excellent place for her dogs to go walking. Their little courtyard was really perfect. The staff was very nice and explained everything to us. They took us in to meet one of the clients they had there. This client leaves the door open all the time for everybody to meet. The two girls who took us through acted like they were part of the family, too. We had an enjoyable time with them. They had some rooms that were really small. They just had the bed and the couch. The other ones had full kitchens in every one of them where they had the stove and the full-size refrigerator. There's a living room and dining room kind of combo with a bedroom and a bathroom. There were lots of storage. They had a balcony in each place. The one that my friend chose is a lot bigger. It has like an entryway where you can set your dining room table, and then a really nice living room and a large-size bedroom and bathroom, a large walk-in closet, and lots of storage. It had a full-size stove, refrigerator, a little kitchen, and the balcony. They have a library, a beauty salon, an area where they play games with the patrons that are there, a laundromat, dining area with menus instead of bringing the food out, and a nice seating area. The facility was wonderful. The menu was excellent. They have a cook that specializes in pastries and one that does special menus. I think they were having salmon the day we were there.

Prestige Senior Living Monticello Park is a very secure building. It did have a restaurant-style place, but you also could pick the food up and take it to your room. They have a little coffee shop within it because they provided two meals a day. If you wanted a third meal, you could go to their little coffee shop that had coffee, tea, sandwiches, and that type of thing, like a mini deli. They have scheduled activities. It had an enclosed outdoor courtyard. You could only go into it from the interior of the building. It was at the center of the building. The people that work there are so kind. The lady who toured us did several phone check-ins with us, and they invited us to come to the monthly brunch that they had for prospective people to come to meet with the people that live there. They had also invited us to eat dinner with them that afternoon. The place was very clean. We met two of the girls that work there and one was cleaning the rooms. They're very nice young girls. We had some interaction with the workers and they were kind. The people who run the activities were very nice. They were amazing. We just don't feel like we need maid service or our meals included. If we did, that would be a different story, but the price difference was over $3000. The restaurant, the cleaning, whether you use it or not, you pay for it.

I visited Prestige Senior Living Monticello Park. The facility looked nice. They were very friendly, and it was clean. They had two wings: assisted living and independent living. I actually toured the independent living wing. I saw their dining area, and they showed me several of their rooms in different sizes. They had a library and other meeting rooms. I did not try their food. They did offer for me to go back at mealtime, which I have not done. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I went to Prestige Senior Living Monticello Park. The location is great. It's close to Kaiser, the doctor's office is right across the street, and the hospital is right down the street. The staff was nice to deal with. The people in the home were friendly. They greeted you when you came in. They're doing some remodeling, so it's kind of a little disjointed. We didn't have a meal there, but they gave us some hot chocolate. We saw the menus and they looked good. The rooms were nice. They had the room staged, so you got an idea of where to put things. There were not tons of storage in the rooms. It's got a nice huge window to look out. They have a movie room, a pool room, a game room, a little place where people can cook, and a craft area. They have all kinds of different things to do. It's a welcoming community.

We toured the independent living of Prestige Senior Living Monticello Park. I was very impressed. It was very nice, neat, and decorated nicely. The tour person was nice and pleasant. Everybody was nice and helpful. I met a few of the residents and they were happy. I saw two rooms: One was occupied, and it was very lovely. The other one was too small for me, I think. They showed me the dining room. There were places for them to play games and they had puzzles and televisions. The rooms seemed to be quite well stocked with cupboards and closets, and the kitchen was nice, too. I have a little difficulty walking and some of the halls, if you had to go to the end of them, were kind of long. Other than that, it was very lovely, very nice, and well kept up. The staff was very pleasant, very nice and very helpful. The upkeep was perfect.

I liked the two different rooms that Prestige Senior Living Monticello Park showed me. The person that led us around was very pleasant. It's a good option. They have a van that runs on certain days, just to go either shopping or to the doctors and I thought it was clean inside. There wasn't much going on because of COVID, but there were puzzle activities out in the hallway when I was there.

Prestige Senior Living Monticello Park was excellent. It was very comfortable working and touring with the staff. We were very pleased with our tour. The layout was good. The staff was excellent. The facility looked clean, not messy. We got a folder that had two fliers in it, plus we got a copy of the menu. We saw the small one-bedroom; it's what they had available to show us. It was cozy, but it was clean, the paint seemed fresh, and the bathroom was a good size. We saw the dining room, their theater room, and the activity areas.

Prestige Senior Living Monticello Park was a nice facility. We needed a 2-bedroom, but they only have a 1-bedroom. They had activities and meals. We were limited because of the virus on how much we could tour. The staff who gave the tour was good. They're excellent.

I toured the Prestige Senior Living Monticello Park. Mother is moving around the 28th of December. The biggest factor was that we could still be able to see her as long as there wasn't an outbreak. We were really happy with everything. The room was nice, and it had what my mom needed. The staff was very friendly, willing and eager to meet our needs, did follow-up calls, and helping us to go in. I know they had a library and a beauty salon there. It's definitely homey.

Prestige Monticello Park was fine. The staff that I met was friendly and interested. The rooms were fine. The dining room looked typical, and food was OK but not anything exceptional.

Some one I care about lives here and they are always complaining about the service of the food. There is only one person taking orders. They wait for and hour for their food and it seems that chicken is the only thing that they cook. The rooms could be better. The place is high priced and the service is minimal

Up until a month ago, my grandparent was in independent living at Prestige Montecillo Park, and they just help her out once in a while if she needs it, but she just moved into the actual living side of it because she fractured her hip. Everything is beautiful; it looks perfect. It looks actually more like a fancy hotel, so I thought it’s very nice. They are just very nice and patient. It is second nature to them, and they have no issues with the people who were around. There were many people -- the older people and the ones who were just workers. She has no issues with the food, and she’s very pleased, no issues at all. They give her special hot tea with her lunch every day and bring her whatever she wants. They’re just very sweet. My mom didn’t think she was going to be able to handle having her in there with the pay and everything like that, and it’s all worked out and has been very beneficial to our family.

Prestige is a fairly new building, very elegant, and they have more food choices. My loved one is very happy there. She has made a couple of friends, and she is involved in some activities. She has got a little balcony, an air-conditioner that works properly, a walk-in closet, and a full kitchen with stove and oven. It's much smaller than the other place she was in, but the rent is cheaper. I've only eaten there once, and it was wonderful. They have two main choices, but they have five alternates if you don't want one of the main choices. She is very happy with the food there. She has only been there three weeks, and superficially it's an excellent place.

The staff at Monticello did not have a real excitement when somebody comes in. They need to be a lot friendlier. It was not that old, but it was not in good condition. I don’t think they have a big enough staff to take care of that. The food was fair from what I saw. They have a movie room and a workout room.

The facility is very clean. Staff were ready to answer questions. They appeared to be very caring. It was very upscale. The residents appeared to enjoy their home. There were many activities for the residents. The food served was upscale and plentiful. I toured several of the room options that were available. All of which seemed sizable and user friendly. I did not prefer the location. The assisted living homes in the area are all lumped together in the same general location. It was located on a busy street. Parking was limited for residents as well as visitors. Transportation around town is provided for residents which I thought would benefit my mother in law. There is also an on site beauty parlor which is nice for the residents.
