My father-in-law has moved into Ashley Pointe Senior Living. What I like the best about it is they're a very friendly community. The room is updated and has high ceilings. It is bright and it has a really good shower. I had food there once, and it was good. The quality of the food is probably average. The staff members are extremely friendly. They seem like they're well-staffed. With regards to activities, they took the residents over to the creamery for a frozen yogurt. They've had a picnic in the park. But my father-in-law hasn't done any of them yet.

We visited Ashley Pointe. We like the duplex arrangement for independent living. The apartments were very adequate. The staff was fine.

Since the current management has taken over, most of the loved staff have been replaced with less qualified people. Care, Compassion and Community is what Sinceri advertises but they are not living up to this. The quality of food has declined. The activities and bus outings have been reduced. II would not recommend Ashley Pointe at this time.

We had an in-person tour of Ashley Pointe. The facility is clean. It's a small facility, so it would be good for someone that wants to be in a smaller group setting. The rooms are a little bit on the small and dark side. The staff members were very helpful and great. They had a computer room in which the residents could play games, and it was interactive.

I looked at the independent living cottages of Ashley Pointe. They're beautiful, but you have to get out into the elements to get over to the main hall for all the food and activities. I felt like that that would be too hard for my mom to have to maneuver. That's the reason why I didn't choose them. From what I saw, it was clean, but it did have a bit of an old people smell. The cottages were a five. They were beautiful; they were great. The couple of staff members I met were very nice.

Ashley Pointe was in a grander scale. It had a lot more cottages. Everything was top grade. Their interior was all updated. It was a lot bigger. They had certain rooms for activities. They have a crafts room and garden. Every week their menu changes, but there was always a steady one that people could choose from. The residents could add what they would like.

My mom needed to move into assisted living after she fell and broke her hip. This was definitely not something she wanted to do because she had always been so independent and was healthy for her age. But, she decided on Ashley Pointe after seeing it. My husband and I have found the staff there to be wonderful and caring. They are excellent about contacting me when there is something I need to be made aware of. Even the senior staff makes themselves very approachable to discuss things with. We feel very happy to have found Ashley Pointe. She feels safe and very cared for.

We had the occasion to put my Mother in law in the care of Ashley point last June due to health reasons. She was in need of more care than my sister in law and us could give her. Nancy was very skeptical and unsure of what she was heading into, a nursing home to be forgotten about and not happy. After living in Ashley point for a while she has become part of the community and is enjoying herself, with many functions that she was not afforded at her previous place and many people to talk to during the day. Not a nursing home but a place to live. She still is a little melancholy for her old home with a daughter, one of her grandsons his wife and two great grandsons but with a staff like Ashley point they have made her feel very welcome. Ashley point is much more set up to take care of Nancy's special medical needs, along with a proper diet from a very clean dining room. Thank you Ashley point and all the staff for all your help. We are looking forward to the continued service.

We went to look around the independent living cottages at Ashley Pointe, and it looked very nice. It is a beautiful two bedroom, two bath duplex. The lady who took us around was very nice. What I did not like about the place is that they have assigned seats in the restaurants. I think you should be able to sit and eat wherever you want.

The one thing we didn't like about Ashley Pointe is that you go for your meals in the main building and there's a gravel driveway and my husband uses a walker and that would have been difficult and you have to go out in the rain for your meals. They have 2 bedroom duplexes and they're very nice. The rooms are roomy and there is a detached garage which we liked a lot.
