My mother lives in Gencare Lifestyle at Granite Falls. It's a very good place. We like it real well. She's been there for seven years. The community is very caring and loving. They make it feel like family there. They also make for the family going in to visit part of the community too, they welcome that when we come, they remember who we are, and it's a very loving situation. I stayed there off and on when my mom needed a pacemaker when she was getting an operation to help with her. The food is fantastic. They do a wonderful job. The people who serve and wait on you are so caring and giving. And I thought that the residents had a wonderful choice of different foods and were prepared very nicely. They have a bus that shuttles them to their doctors, to their appointments on certain days of the week. They have fun things where they have residents to sign up for. They go on shopping trips, sometimes they go out to dinner out to the park. They always have fun entertainment that comes in. They have a beauty salon there. So they have all kinds of things that they do to make it enjoyable for the residents. They have Bible study, exercise classes, they have games at different times, set up for the whole community, or individuals can set a certain time where they just get together with a small group and play cards, or games. It's a good place. They do a good job, especially with the COVID. They've different imaginative things to come up with, especially when everyone is in lockdown. They did things to entertain, so everybody was in their rooms, but they could stand in their doorways and see the group entertain them, just to give them a little something and uplift them.

Gencare Lifestyle at Granite Falls has a lot of good options. They provide two meals for you. You can graze at any time of day from 6:30 until 7:30 at night, so it's kind of like an open restaurant. They have several menu items. It's easy to navigate. Parking is easy to get in and out of. The bedroom layouts are wonderful. They've got lots of storage areas. It was really good as far as like they have a walk-in pantry. Some of the units have a washer and dryer inside; otherwise, they're down the hall in a laundry room. I really enjoyed it. The bathroom layouts were really good, too. The staff member was wonderful and answered all my questions. She showed me all the amenities and how everything worked and went. So, overall, it was a great experience. They had a lot of people down in their main lobby just having a chat group. They have a dog that I think lives on the premises. It was just wonderful to see people interacting. They have a couple of libraries.

Gencare Lifestyle at Granite Falls was very nice. The staff answered all of my questions that I had at the time. She was very respectful and listened to people who had older parents. The rooms were very nice. It was one bedroom. The staff showed me a studio. For the price point, they were very nice. They had a nice dining room. They were doing activities while I was there. They got the residents up and moving, which was nice. They weren't just sitting around. I liked that they had a physical therapist. The facility is a little on the older side, but that's understandable.

Gencare Lifestyle at Granite Falls was an older building, but it was nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We did have a meal there. We were able to order from the menu, and the food was excellent. They had a little exercise room and a library.

We had originally chosen Gencare Lifestyle at Granite Falls, but when my mother-in-law started declining, they said they couldn't take her because they don't have a memory care unit. So we had to select a different place. It was a very homey feeling, it was very laid back. It is not a fancy place by any means, but everyone seemed very closely connected and the staff was very friendly. Their rooms were spacious and very nice, I liked them. I did not try their food. I didn't care for their dining area too much because they had glass on their table tops and plastic tablecloths. It's a much smaller community and was very cramped, so that's one of the things I didn't care for at that facility. Everyone was in the activity room playing games and was very happy about it.

My mom was at Gencare Lifestyle at Granite Falls when she had a fall and was sent to the hospital. We wound up going back to remove all of her things and moved out. She was only able to move in on the first night, but the people seemed to be very kind and very caring. I had a very positive impression of the place. The only negative thing was that they do not have a COVID vaccine as a requirement across the board, but I would rate them very highly in every other regard. Their staff was very nice and capable too. Then they have a hair and nail salon, a very lovely dining room, physical fitness equipment, and some socializing things with a TV and games. They have an activities coordinator and a vehicle for transporting people to various things, like shopping and doctors' appointments. I ate there one time and the food was perfectly fine. It was definitely better than the typical institutional food. They were chef-prepared and nutritious. Also, they seemed to be very reasonably priced.

I liked the lady I met at Gencare Lifestyle at Granite Falls. Her name was Roxie, I think she's the marketing supervisor, and she was very nice. The facility was clean, and quiet, and had a good menu.
