My husband is at Stafholt Health and Rehab of Cascadia. They provide physical and occupational therapy for him. The staff is very helpful and extremely pleasant. His room is very adequate. The food is fine. They have televisions in every room. They also have call buttons in every room and the bathroom. There's a large dining room for the residents to eat. They have a wide area available. It's a rehab hospital. So, for a hospital, I think it's fine. My husband is in the older wing. So if I have to rate the new wing, that would be a 5. The older wing is a 4, but they're painting and refurbishing the old wing. They're well-priced for the services and the care.

The rooms are adequate if you have a private room. Very small and crowded if double occupancy. So far it has been hard to identify what the food actually is since they want to puree it. Puree is not necessary for my family member. It seems to take an inordinate amount of time to get call lights answered. It has taken up to 1.5 hours. Usually close to an hour. Both my family member and I have a very difficult time getting ANY information regarding care, appointments, etc. Ask a question and always get an I don't know answer. Say they will get back to us, but so far they haven't on anything. Personal care has been disappointing. For instance, so far 1 shower in the last 11 days. Can not even get an answer if they have been placed on a shower schedule. Not acceptable!

Stafholt was one facility that I went to that I really like. That's also where my mother seemed to be most comfortable with. The facility itself was immaculate. It was really nice. I really like it. It was totally separate from the rest of the facilities. They have their own dining hall and everything and that was very nice. Their rooms and staff were great.
