The staff is incredible. I come to visit my mom, but also for the smiles, which can be seen even through the ubiquitous masks. They are so warm and loving. Rooms are very comfortable, and well maintained. Activities (movies, trivia, games of various sorts, chair yoga), are numerous, though admittedly my mother has never been very social, so she doesn’t much participate.

Sunrise of Bellevue really appealed to me. It reminds me of an East Coast home. It has high ceilings and artwork on the walls. It's sitting up on a rise, overlooking nice ground. They have lovely people. They are dog-friendly. They have big porches outside to sit on. The facility is very clean and bright. It's just a very, very pleasant place. I thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We looked at a small studio, which was quite nice. This is on the fourth floor, which is memory care, so it's overlooking some woods and trees. It was very quiet. The director of sales is outstanding, very helpful, informative, and just a lovely person.

Sunrise of Bellevue was welcoming. The person I met was very knowledgeable. She provided a lot of information about the facility, gave me pricing information, and introduced me to staff and some of the residents. I could see a lot of activity going on. I could see socialization with the residents there. I could see structured activities, and the results of some of their activities, like artwork that they had done. I could see them playing cards or bridge or preparing to go on an outing. The atmosphere was just really nice. I purposely watched the interactions of the residents and heard from a few how happy they were to be there and how much they recommended it. The location was good. The parking was good. I liked their security features, i.e., checking in and identifying yourself and having someone on staff at the entrance at all times to receive whoever came into the facility. The facility itself was nice, clean, orderly, and bright. There were lots of windows and the grounds were well-kept. The staff members were very friendly, very helpful, knowledgeable, and welcoming.

We toured Sunrise of Bellevue for my mother. It was a very clean facility. What we liked about it was their commitment to creating a sense of community between the staff and all the residents. Their business model was that. It was a very vibrant community and had a lot of opportunities to meet people. The apartment that we saw had a refrigerator, a microwave, and blinds. They provided a very nice place to move into. They had garden areas and lots of outdoor seating. They're located right across the street from a mall that has lots of restaurants, a grocery store, a movie theater, and places you can just walk to. The person who took us around was very engaged and very in tune with the clients who wanted to move in. She's very knowledgeable, very welcoming, very honest, and also very much keeping in contact with us.

I toured Sunrise of Bellevue yesterday. It's bright, airy, comfortable, and very welcoming. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were roomy, they're very well organized, with high ceilings that make them look larger, and they're very bright and airy. I saw the dining area, but due to Covid, it's closed, but it looks like a very nice restaurant set up. Very well organized, clean, warm. When they open again, I'm sure the residents will like going back to it. They do have a salon that's very well set up. They have an outside garden. They have a completely enclosed sun porch that I like. They have a central TV area where they do activities. When COVID lifts, they will have activities there again. The facility looks amazing. It looks like it's been freshly painted, very clean. It's just nice.

Mom was a resident, memory care. The staff is kind and do the best they can, but perhaps my expectations are too high. The turn over rate seems high, the food is substandard, day to day communication is poor between staff and family. Room cleanliness could be better. Things like keeping track of the residents linens and clothing is an issue. What is promised care wise is not what is delivered. Mostly I am disappointed seeing as you don't get what you pay for. $$$ warning... every little step in the care process as your family member deteriorates is charged. The location is great for family visits, a trip to the mall and park was great when mom had greater cognition and mobility. They do offer a lot of activities in house and day trips/outings.

I liked that there's a park right behind Sunrise of Bellevue that people can walk up to. It's a large area. The activities director was really nice. The room I saw seemed bigger than the others and long rather than wide. It was nice and it had its own bathroom. They were very friendly and they seemed to have a lot of activities going on.

We chose Sunrise of Bellevue for our daughter. We spoke to a number of places and we liked the people at Sunrise best. It's a wonderful place. It's well maintained, it's got nice stuff in it, and it's a very nice place. The food is excellent, and it's got a good variety, and a good quality of food.

We don't like the location of Sunrise of Bellevue. It's right next to a big shopping center. The community was unremarkable, but everything was fine. The staff was good. The apartments were all nice.

Sunrise of Bellevue was clean. The people were nice. It was more of an assisted living than memory care, and my dad had dementia.

We did tour Sunrise, but they are not accepted by our insurance. We asked to move Dad in there for a 24-hour on-call or in-house nursing, and they kept saying yes; however, it turned out to be a nursing assistance and not a nursing RN that we had asked for. We like it a lot, but our question wasn’t answered correctly at the time. We called our insurance and have them checked if Sunrise was approved, and they said no because of the nursing staff. Also, a lot of the staff did not speak very good English. The dining room was very nice, and across the board, I would say it’s a 4. Except for the misunderstanding about the nursing, it was a very nice place. I would have been very happy to put my father-in-law in that place if it had the 24-hour RN on staff.

The staff at Sunrise of Bellevue was perfect. They were amazing, and I would recommend that place to anybody I know. The grounds and location were perfect, better than anywhere else I've seen. The rooms were clean, light, big, and comfortable. She loved the food, and they were very accommodating. She was picky but she really enjoyed the food. Their dining area was better than any place else we've seen. It was a little bit like a restaurant and a little bit like a living room. It was a nice combination of both.

My mother was here for half a year. We were very disappointed in all that is "supposed" to happen, based on what the activities calendar showed and what the staff were supposed to do, versus what actually got delivered. Outings did not happen, housekeeping did not show up when they were supposed to. Management did nothing about it other than acknowledge staffing problems. For the money, there are far better places.

I really liked Sunrise of Bellevue. It was not too fancy, but it was not too old either. It didn't look like one of the things my mother didn't want. She didn't want to feel like she was placed in a nursing home, and she didn't want to lose her independence; part of that was being somewhere that wouldn't made her feel old. Sunrise of Bellevue was perfect. It was like modern, but comfortable for my grandma. I was not sure about their activities, but when we came, someone was having a 100th birthday party, and that was really cool. The room was adequate. I remembered everything being in good quality and looking good.

My mother has been at Sunrise of Bellevue for a month now. When I first took her there, she immediately had a really good feeling about it. They have a lot of great activities. She is in a really good transition. It is absolutely immaculate inside and out. They take wonderful care of the grounds. They have a garden area where people can plant their own garden. They also have lovely sitting areas outside. The inside is as clean as it can be. They have light housekeeping everyday in the individual rooms. She has a large studio apartment with an adequately sized bathroom. The food has been great. They serve really healthy meals. I cannot say a negative thing about it. I feel strongly that they are very attentive to the residents. She has been doing so much better than she was doing in her own home.

My mom is at Sunrise. Everything is just fine. She is enjoying herself. She is getting used to this community. The apartments are very nice. Their staff is friendly. The food is pretty good. My mom doesn't have any complaints about it. Regarding activities, my mom seems to be active. She is taking part in the activities that they have going on. What stands out to me about this place is that it is like a great big home. They've got it set up so that it is like home.

My wife is at Sunrise of Bellevue. We looked all the ones around here, and that was the best one. It is a very friendly and very nice place. There are a lot of activities. The staff is very patient, very friendly, and very nice. The rooms there are fine. They are large, very nice, and very clean. Food is very good. They have a bistro there like a big restaurant, yet they have individual eating places in various part of the facility.

Sunrise was clean and more organized. It had a facility for handling dementia patients. Everybody looked friendly and all the marketing people were very nice. The dementia care patients were in a locked down area.

My mom ultimately picked Sunrise over others. She likes this place. Everything is great there. I think the staff is awesome. They really care about the people there. They're working very hard to get my mom back involved in doing things. I like them. They also have tons of activities for their residents. Their rooms are fine and very comfortable. The food is great. I would recommend people to go there and check them out.

My Grandfather stayed at this facility two years ago. After looking in the area for a safe place after his stroke, we chose Sunrise for several reasons. The staff seemed caring and actually interested in his welfare. The process for admission wasn't too difficult and he was settled in to a two room suite. It was actually fairly roomy and after the furniture was moved in, it became a homey place. He enjoyed it for awhile but ultimately, we decided to move him. The Staff turned out to be caring and generally good, but he required more care than was appropriate for an assisted living facility. I felt the facility was good but probably could have used more activities that were not "nursing home" oriented. TV and movie days with popcorn only go so far. Activities that were more complicated and engaging would have been beneficial to the residents there. The facility is clean and I felt welcome when I visited him.
