My father moved to Patriots Glen Assisted Living & Memory Care. I like the staff. They seem to care about memory care residents. The building is quite nice. We toured a couple of places and this wasn't as nice as the others, but it was less expensive. They have a couple of common areas. They have a television room and a dining/activity room. My dad's situation is unique. When we were going to the facility, we were going to go into the assisted living room into a respite room, but my dad's condition has worsened rapidly over the course of just a couple of weeks. When we arrived, it was decided that he was going into memory care, so we did not have any of the furniture that a normal memory care resident would have. They provided a couple of things. I do not know if the television in the room is normal or if they just had one on hand. They also provided a dresser and the hospital bed was provided by the hospice staff that is taking care of my dad at Patriots Glen Assisted Living & Memory Care. They provide haircuts, too. So, they've just been very accommodating to my dad's unique situation. I have only seen what my dad eats. He eats two meals there, and he seems to eat all of it. I don't know the quality of the food. The facility kind of looked like a hotel. You walk in the lobby, the lobby is not very big. Then there's the dining room, which is significantly larger than the lobby. I am overall impressed.

My tour of Patriots Glen Assisted Living & Memory Care was excellent. That was my preferred place, but we chose another place that was more convenient for the family. Nevertheless, they're wonderful. The units were very nice. They had one-bedroom apartments. They have full activity schedules with trips to the grocery store. They have all kinds of wonderful things.

I visited Patriots Glen Assisted Living & Memory Care and I loved that place. I would have moved my father-in-law in right away. It just felt homey and it felt like the staff really cared. They showed me the memory care, and it's mainly the one I toured, but I know everything's all in one building. I love the staff, and the place is small, and just kind of felt more like a family. They are excellent, very helpful, and very friendly. There are lots of activities, too.

My mom has been at Patriots Glen for over 4 years now, beginning in Spring 2019. She had lived in ‘independent’ living for several years after moving closer to us; then she went through a rapid decline and became unable to live independently. This was all new to us. We tried several assisted living situations, and she was miserable, and we could clearly see when care was sub-par, also very expensive and worse, she continued to decline. When we found Patriots Glen we were fairly seasoned at this point and could see this place was offering exactly what we needed, with the full care she needs (she is not mobile, and incontinent) yet with a sense of respectful, independent living. We were so relieved. It is reasonably priced, and yet a quality environment. She has a very nice room, with her own favorite and familiar furniture; she is given just the right balance of care and independence, they offer memory care as needed; the food is pretty great with good quality; lots of salads, soups, and a varied menu with fresh ingredients; and she loves the staff, feels very cared for and loved. It took a few months for her to adjust but it was never extreme. Executive staff made sure she felt important and respected. She lived an accomplished life, and this life-change embarrassed her, so that really mattered. She soon began to tell me how content she is, and now she is always telling me how perfect it is for her. She has never complained about her care or had issues with particular staff (unlike other places she’s been); has made friends with other residents and looks forward to spending time with others even if it’s just sitting in the living room together watching TV. She is always waving at people and introducing me to them. And she enjoys every bite of her food, and they patiently let her take as much time as needed. There is a lovely garden courtyard, and I see residents out there often, and we spend a lot of time out there in good weather. Sometimes we’ll have lunch or dinner out there and she remembers that fondly later. We just had DQ Blizzards (from nearby) and popcorn in their newly renovated ‘ice cream parlor’ which she thoroughly enjoyed. I’ve attended special events with her: Easter brunch is amazing; joined in on St Patrick’s Day songs; have enjoyed their regular Friday Happy Hour with a bit of wine and music, and other special activities they offer where families are welcome. They just released butterflies in the courtyard, which they raised and observed. They offer daytrip drives through scenic local areas, which she enjoys. It’s a close wheelchair accessible walk to a nearby park where she can watch dogs and enjoy nature. During Covid restrictions staff did an amazing job, and did everything possible to provide family access, even if just through plexiglass outdoor seating areas; and kept us constantly updated. They’ve done a recent interior renovation and she is just loving it, she always liked interior design so she is loving the new furniture, paintings, wall colors and flooring. I’ve also started attending monthly dementia support meetings put on by the Director Jordan Drew, which is very informative and supportive. I highly recommend Patriots Glen to families looking for reasonable, quality care for their loved ones. We are grateful.

Patriots Glen gives a very warm and welcoming feeling as soon as you walk through the doors. The staff were very friendly and happy to help me. Jordan, the Executive Director, is very knowledgeable and offered to help me in any way that he could. I got the chance to talk with a few residents while visiting and they all couldn’t say enough great things about the place. The food they offered was tasty and well above average. They made it feel like home.

What I like the least about Patriots Glen Assisted Living & Memory Care is probably the fact that the memory care residents didn't have the opportunity to be involved with activities other than television. In the activity room, they're all kind of lined up in their chairs watching TV, and the care provider that was sitting in the room was just sitting there kind of to oversee but not be actively engaged with them. There was no engagement by the care provider. I would think that there should be some kind of focus outside of television to give these people the opportunity to try to engage, even though they have limited capacity to do so. Also, I felt that there should be more emphasis on encouraging the memory care residents to have a certain allotted amount of time in the day to physically be outside in a completely fenced-in garden or outside environment. It was a gorgeous day the day I was there, and I don't believe they take their residents out to be outside every day. That should be a requirement, especially on a sunny day or a nice day, and they should unlock that door because it was locked. They had a key but even the person who was taking me on the tour didn't know where the key was and so she had to ask someone else. That led me to believe that they don't actively let the residents out to be able to get some fresh air and to be out sitting in the filtered sunshine or even just out there in the shade, and that was a turn-off for me. The available rooms had stains on the carpet. They were dirty. The smells were terrible. It smelled like urine, which has not been cleaned up. I would not put my dad in a place like that. It just reminds me of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. The guy who toured me doesn't normally do the touring. I guess he was thrown off. The marketing person wasn't expecting me to show up, so it was kind of like, 'Okay, I'll take you on the tour.' He tried to get the information that he needed by contacting a few times the appropriate people (probably the marketing person), especially on pricing and cost and that kind of thing, so he was at least being proactive.

Patriots Glen Assisted Living & Memory Care was a good and very friendly place. I saw quite a few people in the common areas watching TV as compared to the other facility that I went to where nobody was there at all. They were milling around and their courtyard was really pretty. I met Mohammed and he was very nice, answered my questions, and was professional. I only looked at one apartment and thought that it's not going to work. It didn't have any views that my mom is looking for, but it's a very homey place. It's more like you're walking into your grandma's house and you see what you'd expect to see. They were ample though, and the space was good. The carpets probably would need to be replaced. It's an older facility, but the people seem to be pretty happy there.

My mom is moving into Patriot Glen Senior Living in Bellevue on Tuesday. I've already seen the place, and I was impressed. It was a very good tour, which is how I ended up choosing it for my mom. We toured the assisted living part of the facility. There are people that live there that are just totally independent. You can add on the services that you need or take them off, if you don't need them anymore. There are things like medication management, showering, or whatever you need. They also do have hospice services, if it gets to that. You can start out in independent living. There are people that live there who don't have the additional care. They provide three meals a day, activities, and things. If your health deteriorates, then you just add on the cost per situation that you need. It's all in the same area, except memory care. Memory care is in a different area next door. In assisted living, you have your own apartment, and you still have meals with the same dining room. I've been back there various times, everybody seems to be enjoying themselves. The food seems like a really nice restaurant-quality meal.

I placed my best friends mother in Patriot Glens Memory Care in April 2017 after researching many options - 2 other care facilities and several "Home for Mom" facilities. I was so impressed with the leadership and genuine caring expressed by the staff for my "adopted" mother whom I had to unexpectedly move from an Assisted Living facility due to a change in mental status while my friend was away on a long trip. Jane worked with us so this was legally possible and we never questioned our decision after that. The care workers at PG are above excellent and really make a home for those under their care and cater activities to their likes. Everytime I my friend and I visited her mother they were upfront with what was happening medically and the communication was excellent. Unfortunately my friend passed away 6 months ago so I had to become the Guardian for her mother and with now more involvement with PG now I am even more impressed with Jordan and Jane and their staff in always keeping me up to date. They brought in Hospice to assist my ward as after her daughters death she started declining. I have VERY positive feedback for the whole process - as I am a Canadian not used to the US medical system I was surprised and supported by both Patriots Glen and the hospice through the passing last month of my friends mother. I could not have dreamed a better partnership and easy passing for a lady that I have known and respected for over 50 years. Patriots Glen has been accommodating in any request that we have made, the staff have a can do/not a problem attitude and are always willing to help you out. Joy, the Activities lady was always putting a smile on our faces as she sang "you are my sunshine" as she would play bingo or do exercises or some other creative activity. Thanks very much for all that you have done in supporting us through this process. It was and still is much appreciated.

Our Mom was a resident of Patriots Glen. We would like to send our thanks to Jane, Jordan and the entire rest of the staff for everything that they did for her. Mom, like most others, was a very loving person and was always so helpful to others in so many different ways, but when her disabilities finally caught up to her she could no longer live safely on her own. The first assisted living facility she was in was not able to adjust to her progressing needs, and we had a difficult time finding a location that would accommodate her. We were so fortunate to be introduced to Jane at Patriots Glen. She and her staff were able to work with us to get Mom the treatment and care she needed. They went above and beyond their duties to assist her with her needs and communicated with us whenever necessary. At Patriots Glen, we found not only a safe and loving environment, but one which felt like home. With the challenge of COVID-19 going on worldwide, Patriots Glen has made the adjustments needed for the safety of both the residents and the staff. We cannot imagine how things would have been without them.

I think this place is a pocket stuff. Never enough employees and very unattentive staff. They smile a lot. We need more than that! The people have an emergency button. They never answer it. Some of the employees do a bit better than broken English. Food is pretty marginal. Usually, when I visit...I have to chase down the help to order. I think they are siphoning people to their "memory care" unit, from the other side. Not sure they are better or worse than any of the others. I can say they consistently fail. And, they don't seem to fix their failures.

Patriots Glen is a most unusual home for seniors meeting the needs with loving service not included elsewhere. A loving family home with comforting appearance and decor. Reasonable costs are determined and adjusted by personal needs.Unlike other facilities, activities direct continual opportunities to exercise, have fun, go shopping, keep alert and active while enjoying life. Our activity direction is primary. Visits by family and friends are facilitated at all hours. Residents can also keep a dog or cat. The menu is varied, extensive and carefully planned for healthy living. Patriots Glen staff reflect all the cultures on earth with an uncanny understanding of personal care. All staff, like a large family, working , continually helping each other. In my eight months at Patriots Glen, I have gone from fat to thin, losing 50 pounds, becoming a different man, invigorated and motivated with renewed strength. Bob.

The reason I picked Patriots Glen was because my price range was between $3,000, and $4,500 a month. All of the places that were recommended were above that. There were only three places that I selected that had the services for memory care that were adequate for my mother. It turned out to be one of the lower priced places, and also had the level of care that was adequate. We tried respite stay in two places. When my mom was staying at the other place, she had two incidents within the first four days, and there was no records on the medical caregivers log files that showed when or how it happened. So, I scheduled a second respite stay at Patriots Glen. Here there were no incidences, and although the type of care is slightly different, it's adequate for her needs at least at this time. The place itself is up-to-date, simple, and it's a smaller memory care facility. There are only 19 folks in there. The number of activities in the calendar is simpler, but fairly complete. The level of care is very personal. The number of caregivers is 4:1; which is a large number. There are no outstanding state actions against the facility. It has a good record in terms of safety. I would describe them as simpler in nature, and not as elaborate.

My mother has lived at Patriot's Glen for 8 months now. I cannot imagine a more caring and loving staff that have more than met her every need. She has received immediate care for evey need. Each care-giver treats her like a loving family member. The chef John provides gourmet meals. Patriot's Glen has been a true home for my mom. I cannot imagine any need that has not been met at the 5 star level. She has thrived there. Thanks ever so much!

I moved my dad from the finest facility in Northern California to Patriot's Glen six months before he passed away. Patriots was smaller, and did not as new but it turned out to be the perfect place for him. The Staff were more attentive, incredibly loving and competent. He loved being there. I've been to a lot of assisted living places over my lifetime as a Pastor and as a son. This was the best in terms of care.

I was appalled at my experience here. The community relations person told me anything I wanted to hear and promised the moon in an attempt to close the sale. She told me things that I knew were not true and promised me that my mom would never fall again and would be safe until her dying day. It was all about the sale for this person and not about listening to us or what my mom needs were.

I visited Patriots Glen, and the staff was very nice. The person who showed me around was wonderful. I really liked the front office gal and the community relations person. She was very helpful and kind. The rooms were fine. The parking area, which was right in front, was very convenient, with lots of spaces. They had activities, but I don't remember what they were. I don't believe that they would take my dad to church. Also, it seemed much more like a nursing home, and I didn't feel like it would fit my dad.
