The Villages of Rosemont was nice. They didn't know we had an appointment, though, so that was kind of odd. But the people were nice. The staff was nice. I don't have anything bad to say about it. The rooms seemed to be fine.

We went to The Villages of Rosemont. The tour was good and informative. What my dad didn't like about it was there were so many people milling about and around. He's blind, so he doesn't want to go eat at the cafeteria. They would have had to make special arrangements for him for someone to bring him his food, which isn't standard there. The facilities were all nice. Everything was clean, but it wasn't the place he wanted to be. They have one person who does the tour. She went around and showed where everything was and what type of room they had for respite because they were in a certain area. I think she said two or three rooms are all they have for respite. The rest are permanent. I know they had a library with games in it. They had a dining area and a TV room. The rooms have their own TV and stuff like that. The food was all prepared for everyone in the big kitchen area. The place was very large, so for him to travel somewhere with a walker and being blind, it's a little bit difficult.

I toured The Villages of Rosemont. I wasn't too impressed with them. They didn't give me a warm, comfortable feeling. The staff who gave the tour was OK. She answered whatever questions I asked. They showed me the rooms and the dining area, and that's pretty much it. Nothing spectacular, nothing impressive. The area they're located in is nice, but that's about it. They acted like they didn't know I had a tour scheduled, so that would probably be nice to be a little more up on that, but they did get a person to give me a tour of her and everything.

My tour at The Villages of Rosemont was nice. It was kind of an older facility so it has more of a nursing home feel to it. It had a nice director who was very personable. It was a much smaller facility than the other ones I've seen. Their rooms were also more like a nursing home, they were small rooms that had a hospital feel to them. There wasn't very much space. They have a larger room but with the roommate option, it just didn't have the same feel as the other facilities. They had a dining area, it was quite beautiful. And they have a beauty salon for the residents.

Everything at The Villages of Rosemont looked very nice. They have nice furniture and they have a TV that's out for everybody. It's a nice place to stay. The rooms and the building itself looked nice. The lady said that they do activities with the residents and she was also extremely nice. Just by interacting with her, I get a feeling that she's a very pleasant person. She had other things going on and stuff like that, but she stopped what she was doing and printed out Medicaid information that I would need for the future, even if I didn't go with them. I thought that was nice as well because they didn't have to do that.
