My dad is at Harmony at Harbour View. The community is great. They seem to be doing well with him and they get him to breakfast downstairs. They've been really good about responding to his beeps when he needs some help in his room because he has a band on. So that all seems to be good. The only negative is they are understaffed and they cannot support non-ambulatory people. He can't get around. So they don't have the staff to help with that and that's something to be aware of. They have an activity director. My dad doesn't like to participate because he doesn't like to communicate very much, but they try to include him. I know that they come by and ask him every day if he wants to get involved and sometimes he'll do it. He'll go down and play bingo because he doesn't have to talk to anybody, but if it's something to do with talking, he won't do it. I have not tried the food myself, but I sit with my dad at breakfast every Wednesday morning so I see what they give and what they have. They'll tell him what's on the menu and he gets to order what he wants. Usually, he has eggs and sausage or bacon and oatmeal or coffee. You name it, they bring it and the cool part is they get to know their residents there. Like the lady would bring him his grapefruit juice before he even asked for it. So, they get to know the people there and when they come up to my dad, they go "Good morning. Here's your grapefruit juice. What do you want from the menu today?" It's pretty good. They have a little bistro area and my family and I gather in the bistro area every Saturday so we had dinner with my dad. We bring food there with him and that's nice. It's like a little place where you can eat food and all that kind of stuff and they have coffee always set up there. I know they have the main dining room where my dad is. They also have a gym with actual workout equipment and stuff like that in there. They have the beauty shop on the third floor where my dad is, and on the fourth floor, they have the rehab. They have full staff there. They have physical therapy and most of the people there do physical therapy 2 to 3 times a week. So it's nice to have that all-inclusive in there. The only thing I'm not happy with is the staffing. If you look at it on the website, it says they can have non-ambulatory people. That's why we placed them there because we thought that if he gets worse, he could stay there, but it all just comes down to staffing. They are great. They're very caring. We have some people in there that are still amazing. There's one older guy who is really good with my dad. He'll be like, "Come on, Major, you can do it. You can get up." He's encouraging to help him try and get up when he falls. They have a lot of people that care about what they're doing. It's not just a job to them. The common areas are 100% clean every day. They do housekeeping twice a week on the assisted living sites. So if my dad messes stuff up or whatever, they'll come in and wipe it up, but they will wait until the cleaning staff comes in to freshen up the carpet if you spill something on it or it's stained or something. Honestly, that to me is great, because they do it twice a week and that's their standard. The only time that it's not like that is when it comes to the individual rooms. It depends on the actual person in the room, like how they are. The value for the money is pretty good because my dad came from another facility where he was in a studio apartment at $7,745 a month. My dad's in a one-bedroom now at $5,551. That's with level three care in both facilities. It's excellent for what the cost is considering their comparison. I don't know if that is normal, but that's my comparison.

We toured Harmony at Harbour View. I like the facility. The only thing was, it has quite a few floors. The staff was very good. We ate there and the food was great.

We liked the fact that Harmony at Harbour View was very clean when we went in. The staff was very willing to help and to assist. The young lady who showed us around was very knowledgeable and friendly. We also had an opportunity to have lunch to be able to taste the food. The staff was very good. They spoke to you and acknowledged that you were there. Everybody was very friendly. Everybody that worked there, if they walked past or whatever, they spoke to you. They had transportation. They had a calendar that showed whatever was going on that week that we could participate in. The units that she showed us were very clean, ready to move in, and accommodating. They had one-bedroom or two-bedroom, and they had a studio. It was just wonderful. It was pricier than the other place and what turns my wife off to all of them, not just this one, is the fact that you have to pay for your spouse. If your two-bedroom started at $3500 and if you got a spouse, then it went up another $1200 or $700 for the spouse to be there.

Harmony at Harbour View was topnotch. They were really good. They followed up. The price was high, but it was reasonable compared to other places. The building was gorgeous. The layout was good. I loved the floor plan, and the staff Vivienne was good. They provide three meals a day, too.

I will be moving to Harmony at Harbour View, and I chose it because of the price. The staff were very professional, and I think they had more amenities than I had seen in other places I looked at. They have a gym, a movie theater, and a dining area. The bedroom was more than comfortable. The facility is near restaurants, so I liked the area.

I liked Harmony at Harbour View for my mother. It was enlightening - that would be the word I would use. I didn't expect to see what I saw. It was so clean. It had three levels - the assisted living, independent living, and Alzheimer's part. I loved the movie theater and I loved the library. Everything was just conducive to what she would need. I really liked the staff. I liked the way they do the events and the calendars that they had on their doors. I liked the way that they had Christmas decorations. It was just so amazing. The rooms were nice. I loved the big the shower, and how you can walk in. It was handicap-accessible, and the room was big enough for what she needs. They have different rooms to offer at different prices. The lady that toured me around was excellent.

My mother moved into Harmony at Harbour View two weeks ago. Everyone's very helpful, and it seems like they really care about their residents. They have physical activities, like yoga and various exercise activities that they do. They also have social activities, like they celebrate birthdays and have group outings. They go to the minor league baseball team that's in the area, and things like that. The food is pretty good. When you move in, the family can eat with the residents. I tried it when we moved in, and it was good.

Harmony at Harbour View was a nice facility, and they have a caring staff. It was very large, and I was afraid that mom would've gotten lost. It's a very big facility. They had a lot of stuff like the weight room, the crafts room, and a theater. The location was kind of a downside. It was too far away for us, and it was in kind of a congested area. It was very clean and well kept.

Harmony at Harbour View was very, very nice. My sister and I joked about wanting to go there ourselves. They had a lot of things for the residents there. They had excursions, they had a movie room, they had a library and a craft room. They had a happy hour a couple of days a week and things like that. It was just very nice and I thought my mom would like it. The rooms were nice. This is a new place, it's only like seven years old. The rooms were a nice size, even the studios. I like the bathrooms, the bathrooms were nice and big that if she's had to be in a wheelchair, she can manipulate with no problem. I didn't have any food, but the menus looked very good. What's the most interesting with the assisted living was the fact they give her her medicine and she could do rehab or physical therapy there. They have all those facilities there. The staff who gave the tour was very nice, very informative, and she has done some follow-up calls. I like her a lot, she was very, very helpful.

We went to Harmony at Harbour View in Suffolk and toured their assisted living. It was great. It was a nice place, they had a lot of activities, and they were very hands-on with the elderlies who needed help. I just loved everything about it, but my grandma didn't want to go. Everything was clean, and everything seemed to be organized. They had a very nice dining area for the people that live there. They had Sunday church services for the different denominations like Baptist or Catholic. They had activities, a movie theater, and everything was just nice and clean. They have large areas for you to walk, not little skinny hallways.

We toured Harmony at Harbour View. The staff seemed to be very, very nice. It's a very new facility. It looks about five or six years old. They're less expensive. We didn't eat any food, we just toured the place and the facilities. The staff was good and seemed to be busy and taking care of the patients.

I went to the Harmony at Harbour View. The place is great, it's a very nice facility. The tour was great and I really liked it. The room is fantastic, perfect. It was clean, it was well laid out, and there was lots of space. The staff member was fantastic. I think her name was Jennifer. We checked the dining area. The menu looked right. We didn't taste any of the food. They do fitness. The different activities that they do, such as clothing and things like that, right up my mother's alley.

I went to Harmony at Harbour View. It was a great, fantastic visit. There were two ladies that really did the tour, one was assisting the other until she was free to join us, but it was a beautiful community, and they were so very nice. I really loved it but it was out of our price point. I was very impressed. I didn't see any activities at that time, just what they said that they offered; it sounded ideal. They showed me the library, the movie room, the dining area, and she did explain that they do engage the residents in activities, cooking, and any other hobbies the residents are interested in. It was spaghetti day, and my mom and I were provided with a spaghetti meal, and the food was delicious.

We are moving my mom to Harmony at Harbour View. They had a good sales pitch and had the room availability that would be suitable for my mom. The place looks new, clean, and updated. They have the level of nursing care where they have a lot of folks on each floor of the facilities and so it looks like she would get the suppport that she needs. I did not interact with so many people other than the sales director and said hello to some of the nurses, but so far they have seemed very professional and helpful. The room seemed adequate; however, the living room area is smaller than we would like, but since she is getting a two-bedroom apartment we think she'll be able to manage with that.

Do not move your loved ones to this facility. It deserves 0 stars. In July of 2020, 8 patients died of COVID-19 and 30 staff members were infected. Harmony at Harbour View failed to inform residents and have tried to hid the outbreak. Communication from the administration and empathy of the staff members is horrible. My grandfather was one of the residents who passed from COVID and Harmony at Harbour View couldn't even send a condolence card. My family is heartbroken and we do not want anyone else to go through what we did.

I really love Harmony at Harbour View. The amenities, the accommodations, and the staff were first class. The only thing I didn't like was the pricing. They had a dining facility, a bar, a weight room, a library, and a barber shop. The apartment was like a home. It had everything you needed, including a complete kitchen, a walk-in closet, a large bedroom, and a large living room.

I love this community. I was very impressed with it. It was very clean, and they had apartment type set-ups. You can get 1-, 2-, or 3-bedrooms. The levels of care are separated by floors. They have a movie theater room and a calendar of events for the month. Their dining room is very nice. They have a menu that they change every day and it gives you several options. If you don't want a hot meal, you can still get a sandwich or a salad. It was very expensive, but it was very nice. The front desk clerk gave us a general tour, but he wasn't sure of any extra things. He just showed us the rooms, the different levels of care, and the nurse's station on each floor. The staff was very helpful.

My mother is there. She had been in their independent living facility several years ago before she had her stroke and that's where she wanted to go back. They're good. They have a lot of activities and seem to take good care of them. She can hear and tell that the nurse is somewhere close by just about all the time especially if she leaves her door open. They push her around to go to different activities and do different things. She made a lot of good friends there, and she's really enjoying it. The only problem I had was whether or not they feed them too much. It's brand new and fancy.
