The Maynard has been such a good fit for my mother. Everyone who visits her comments how nice it is. There is only one level, nice dining room and gathering spaces and makes for an inviting atmosphere. the entire staff are so friendly and caring to the whole family. Jackie, the director, has promptly taken care of any request or questions we have had. April, the activities director, is amazing. There are many activities planned everyday for enrichment. The other residents are so friendly as well.

I visited The Maynard. I had set up an appointment to go and see whoever gives you the tour. I kind of wandered around for a little bit and one girl, I guess she was a CNA or a nurse or a med tech, came and took me around because the person I was supposed to meet wasn't there. It was an OK facility. I liked the size of the rooms. It was almost like a little apartment, so I did like that. It was pretty good. I just wasn't comfortable with having a meeting with someone, but they weren't there and didn't let me know or anything. That was the only downfall really, but it was still OK. It was a nice facility.

It was a very nice place. It was clean, very warm, and welcoming. Brenda, the one who toured us around, was great. She answered a lot of questions and gave us a lot of information. They had a calendar of all the activities that they do, but we didn't see anything happening at the time.

The facility is clean and has loving, caring staff. All staff go above and beyond when caring for your loved one. When we visit, we are greeted by name and given an update if any, about our loved one. The communication between the facility to us is above expectation!

The staff at Greenfield of Strasburg was very helpful and very personable. They gave me some good pointers on things that I should check out (even outside that facility). I found the facility to be very pleasant and clean. Their menu looked fine. They had a variety of choices. We were seeing an empty room that I think had been cleaned. I think they were planning to paint it, but I saw a cockroach immediately (which I think that sort of happens down south, not necessarily because it's not clean). Otherwise, I would still give the facilities a 5.

I liked the facility and its people. The guy who showed me around was very helpful and spent a lot of time talking to me. It's a smaller place and had fewer people in it, but it seemed like a nice community.

My mom is staying here. They are very good, and I don't have any issues. They have something going on every day, like bingo, movie nights, snack nights and birthday parties for the residents. They have animals once a month. It is a pretty decent place. We are happy with it, and she seems content. The food and the dining area are OK.

We liked it. My younger daughter and I stopped in there unannounced on a Sunday afternoon, and the director of the place took about two hours with us to go through everything. We met some of the residents and staff members, and saw all the different types of rooms. They had independent and assisted living. I thought it was excellent and would trust my parents to live there. The rooms might be smaller than what my parents were looking for, but they were nice and had everything that they would need. We saw their dining area and even the kitchen to meet the staff preparing the food. Everything looked very clean. The place looked like a house. They had a hairdresser that came in for the ladies once a week as well as a calendar of activities. Everything was pretty good.

We choose them for my mother-in-law. The staff is very helpful. The rooms are homey and very nice. I have not eaten there myself, but my family member did, and they said it is very nice. They have many activities. They have community visits, bingo, and holiday activities. It impresses me that they are very kind, warm, and welcoming. They seem to meet the needs of my mother-in-law the most.
