Since my sister was admitted there, I have only been able to reach her by phone twice. I know staff is busy but her daughter (my niece) died last week. I wanted to talk with her and the# I was given and verified--no one answers. I tried at various times all this week with no answer. I just called main office and they put me to desk---still no answer. Covid has wreaked havoc with everyone but there should be someone to answer phones so we can communicate.

Kings daughters is a center I would never send any of my family members to. They had my cousin on morphine 7 days straight and did not take care of him Or I’m thinking never gave him anything to drink. He was filthy when I went to see him. They discharged him from physical therapy when they weren’t supposed to. And they almost killed him also keeping him on the morphine. If you ever have friends or family that need to go to a nursing home do not send them here. I don’t see why this place is still open.

My husband was at Kings Daughters, and I was extremely dissatisfied. He was in a shared room, and his roommate was in control of everything and they do nothing about it. There was not even a chair beside his bed. I said that he needed to have daylight because he has dementia, and they sat him in the nurse’s station with artificial light. I went on a Wednesday and asked to have him discharged, but they would not do so until the following Monday. When I picked him up, he was filthy and dehydrated. There were staff communication problems.
