We're residents of Tuckahoe Pines Retirement Community. The food is good. We have a nice apartment. Everybody is so nice, the employees and the people that live here. They're very welcoming and they include you. We've been busy getting settled in, so we have not been that involved. But they have a beauty parlor, a bank, and a resource room where you sign up for things and read the papers if you choose to. They have a theater, which is lovely, but I haven't been in it because we're settling in, and 10 kids have been coming in and out to help for the past month. They keep the eating area neat and clean, too. They have a nice staff that comes and keep your table cleared when you're finished. They're friendly, too. I think the manager is on top of things, and I think she cares about us.

I have visited Tuckahoe Pines Retirement Community, which is a country club community. It was absolutely beautiful. The apartments were beautiful, and the facilities were outstanding. It was also higher priced. Their cheapest apartment was more expensive than the most expensive apartment in the place I ended up choosing. All they had was independent living. The people that I was in contact with were marvelous. If you drive upfront and hand the concierge your key, they'll park your car for you. They really go all out, but it wasn't in my price range. I wasn't crazy about the way they served their meals. It was kind of like going through a school lunch line. You got a tray and went down the line. You say what you want, and they put each thing on your plate. Whereas in the other community, it was like a restaurant. A waitress would come to your table, and she would take your order. You would have all kinds of choices. You make those choices, and then she brings it to you. I just didn't like that aspect when it comes to their food service, but the facilities there are gorgeous.

We went to look at Tuckahoe Pines Retirement Community. The staff was awesome. He was very good and followed through with everything. We liked that everything was included. The community was friendly, open concept, and interactive. They have drink bars and snacks. The facilities are excellent. It's almost too new. They have shopping, office services, a full dining room, and three meals a day.

We went to Tuckahoe Pines Retirement Community. The staff during the tour was very helpful. They had live-in people there. The lady who gave us the tour and her husband live onsite. It seemed like they knew everybody. They know what's going on there. We did not try the food, but they had a very nice large dining area. They were also brand new, so it's very nice, but I don't think they're as filled up. They're a little more isolated and a little bit further out. They have three meals. The rooms were good and very new.

We were invited to a grand opening at Tuckahoe Pines Retirement Community. They advertise a resort-style and all that sort of thing. That was a little bit more than expensive. The lunch was available, and the tour was very nice. The facility is breathtaking. It was very nice, and my wife felt it was overwhelming. It was very large, very elaborate inside, and spotless. The people were very friendly and physically more in tune with how we are physically at our age. It's a beautiful facility. The staff members tried very hard. They had chefs, a doorman, and valet parking. We don't need any of that stuff. It was in a nice location. Once you're in the complex, you don't even know the highway is that close. The food was excellent. The chefs dressed in white and ready to serve whatever you wanted. They put on a very nice display.

I visited Tuckahoe Pines Retirement. It's the one that I would like my husband to go to because I think it will provide the best living arrangements for him. I really liked it. The facility is brand new. Everything is fresh looking and painted. I thought they had some features that I really thought were very, very good. I think it would be good for my husband. The sales staff is very nice there.

I liked Tuckahoe Pines Retirement Community better than where I am, so I have decided to move there soon. The facility itself is nice. It is in a secluded area. It's rural, quiet, and the facilities exactly fit my needs. The person who gave me a tour was very familiar with the property and everything about it. She was able to answer my questions. They have a little store, a gym, a hairdresser, and a bus to take people to the doctors or go on tours. I was able to meet some of the residents too and it just felt very comfortable.
