I'm at The Crossings at Bon Air. It's fairly quiet. It's nice. The people are very nice. The nurses and the service people are all very nice. They keep up with the place. In general, it's good. I have two rooms, one is the bedroom, which is big, and the other is the living room, which is also fairly big. There's a bathroom, too. There's kind of a kitchenette-type thing. There are different rooms. There is a library. There is a beauty salon for the residents. The place is right by the road, so it's not great to walk out and walk along the road, but they have places where you can walk. I like it here.

The Crossroads at Bon Air is very impressive. One thing I liked about the place is that the woman who did the tour was the best one of anyone. It took about two hours and they liked their place. It's lovely. The rooms are very nice. They have a walking trail and a coffee shop. It just seemed like a very friendly place to be in. If you were unable to come down, there'd be ways to have food brought up to you. They allow small pets and as you walked through the halls, there were little plaques on the doors with the kind of pet and the name of the pet they have. I liked that they were quite able to have that. It was very, very clean and it seemed like there was plenty of help to care for people.

I toured The Crossroads at Bon Air. The facility was well-cleaned, presentable, and attractive. The staff was a very helpful young lady. She seemed to be friendly, and everyone had smiles.

The Crossroads at Bon Air was nice and it would be a perfect choice for what we were interested in. I talked to 1 or 2 residents there and they were very satisfied with the conditions and the facilities. The employees and everybody seemed very nice. It was an ideal place and we might have picked that one. The rooms we looked at were all empty, but I could see where things that we had would fit in there very nicely. I was looking at the 1-bedroom and they did show us the 2-bedroom, but I think we were probably going to be satisfied with the 1-bedroom.

I went to The Crossings at Bon Air. I like the amenities. I like the one-bedroom. It had a washing machine in the room. The tour guide was very friendly. They have lots of activities. The menu seemed varied. Some of the rooms have individual patios, but of course, they cost extra. There's one area that is like a community patio that everybody can use, which I thought was quite nice. I liked the staff who toured me around. She wasn't pushy. She was more than willing to answer all the questions. The cleanliness was good.

I went to the Crossings at Bon Air. There wasn't much there that I liked because the memory care was up on the third floor. They had to take an elevator to go up. There is a passcode that the family gets, but they also give it to the residents because they claim the residents can't remember it. Even though you're dealing with someone with dementia, they can remember some things to a certain degree, so I did not like that. I did not like that up on the third floor there is a sunroom and it's all glass, and the residents can go out there and sit. To me, that's up too high. It's easy for the glass to get broken. There is no support rail around the bottom half, so if the glass gets broken a resident could fall through. I did not care for the Crossings at all. I wasn't happy with the room because it's on the third floor, but it was a clean place. I only spoke with two of the workers, Sarah that showed me around, and then the one that greeted me when I got there. I saw none of the activities. They don't have an enclosed garden area where the residents can go and sit. Sarah was in a hurry to show me around, and I didn't get to ask any questions. She was doing all the talking. She gave me the folder and said, "Everything's in there, let me know what you choose."

My mother-in-law moved in at The Crossings at Bon Air in October. She's very happy there. We chose it for her because it was convenient, we liked having the washer/dryer in the rooms, and she could transition to assisted living if she needed to. Their staff is great. Their meals are excellent. They have activities and she loves them. They are very active. They have a cocktail hour before dinner. They have a little pub that's open before dinner every evening. They go out to lunch. They go shopping. Those are just some of the things that she has done that she's enjoyed very much. They have live entertainers that come in the evening. Not all the time, but frequently.

I visited The Crossings at Bon Air. The staff were very friendly and informative. The rooms were very clean and very well laid out. It had a kitchenette with a stove and refrigerator. So that was nice for seniors who were not ready for assisted living. The common dining area was very nice, very open, and airy, and it looked very clean as well. It was like a restaurant, and I saw people sitting at tables. I didn't see a cafeteria-style; I think they are being served. The grounds were very clean. It has a common area, when I was there, I saw a lot of the residents up and walking around. They're allowed to have their dogs. They did have a library room and a wine social. They have a little bar where you can have a little wine social, I thought those are nice. There were activities throughout the week. Everyone was very nice.

The physical appearance of The Crossings at Bon Air was good. It was the very first one that we toured. The lady there was very nice. We really enjoyed her. She wanted us to consider moving in, and that aspect of it was very nice. She took a lot of time with us. I thought that was very good. My husband didn't have a good feeling for the place, so we decided not to pursue it. We saw the dining room, the library, and an exercise room.

The Crossings At Bon Air was a very clean facility. Pat toured me around, and she was very nice. I liked that they had balconies on most of the apartments. The apartments were very nice and big. They had spacious bathrooms. If they needed to call somebody for help, they had those pull strings in them. The kitchens were also nice. Most of them had hardwood floors, and it's very clean. The thing I didn't like was their pricing. To me, it was a little high. They only included one meal; compared to another facility, their pricing was around $3000 to $4000 (but you get three meals). The only difference in The Crossings At Bon Air was that you can advance to assisted living and memory care. They had that all available. They had an exercise room, a poolroom, a happy hour night, a chapel, and all the activities you would need to not have to go anywhere. I liked them, but we just couldn't afford it.

We went to The Crossings at Bon Air. It was too big for us. For other people, I think it would be fine, but for my mother-in-law, it's too big. The rooms we were shown were empty except for the refrigerator. It was obvious that they hadn't cleaned them up. At this place, we were led around by a marketing person, and she admitted, 'Yes, we haven't cleaned these up. We will fix them up, and they'll look better,' but they didn't look so hot to me. But that place we realized within about 10 minutes was just too big for my mother-in-law. Once we both realized that I probably didn't pay as much attention as I would have otherwise because I knew we couldn't do it. The lady was very friendly. Everybody we met was friendly, but it wasn't a good fit for us, so I started tuning things out. They had a very nice dining area. They had a little outside area that was nice. But it was just so big that we realized it wouldn't work for her. They had an area set aside for a chapel, whether it was considered just a chapel, but I suspect it was multipurpose. They had some activities going on while we were there. People seemed happy that we were there. I pretty much only met the marketing lady. Once we got upstairs, it seemed a little bit not as well built. The downstairs seemed nice.

I saw the apartments at The Crossings at Bon Air and they look great. But I didn't see any seniors there; they're most likely in their apartments because it was quiet. I would probably recommend them. I spoke with one person, she was nice to me and showed me the facility and talked about all the process. I saw a studio and it was a decent size and I thought it was great. The facility looked clean and quiet. It's located in a quiet neighborhood. A lot of their amenities don't work because of COVID-19. They have a library and a pub or bar. What I didn't like about it is that they don't have any outdoor space. Except for that, everything looked good, clean, and new. I spoke to one person during the tour, and she did a perfect job. They provided me with booklets and brochures, showed me a sample of the menu, and showed me the dining area.

The Crossings at Bon Air was lovely, and we were very impressed with it. The staff who gave us the tour took a lot of time to take us around. It was a lovely place and one we would consider when Mom is ready to move into a place. They had a library, a cocktail center, a chapel, a hobby room, and an exercise room. The staff seemed very nice.

We were pleased with Crossings at Bonaire, and we placed our mother there. I think the amenities are good. There is a gym, and they have a lot of activities. They have activities every day. The food is fine.

I was very impressed with The Crossings at Bon Air. The only thing I didn't like about it is that it is very, very big. The building is very big, and it is several stories. However, their activities were a lot more varied. The people were more interested in informing you what the place was like. The dining room was fine. The menu gave you choices. They even had a 5 o'clock bar. They gathered for happy hour, and everybody was allowed one glass of wine. The place looked really good. The hallways were nice and wide. There were lot of paintings. The rooms were very nice. I would consider this place.

The Crossings was a really nice facility, but they did not have a full kitchen. The staff was wonderful. The people were very good. They bent over backward. They support each other. I was very impressed with everyone that we met.

My mother moved to Crossings at Bon Air, and it's fantastic. The staff is excellent. They are very good. Her room has one bedroom, a living room, a huge bath, and a full kitchen. Their dining room is beautiful with tablecloths. They have different menus every day. They have two different entrées plus a standard menu for all their meals. They have every kind of activity you can imagine. They have bingo, bridge, and hand-and-foot. They have social activities. They have a pub there for everyone to meet in the evening before dinner and have a glass of wine. They have their own physical therapy and hairstylist right there in the building. They have a beautiful piano and two large-screen TVs in their lobby. It is beautiful.
