My mom is a resident of Louisa Health Care Center. Everything seems to be fine. Everybody there is nice and friendly. Everything seems to be clean from what I've seen so far. They are good, the services and everything is good. They just have some plantings, and some make some little flowerbeds. They do bingo, a movie night where they watch movies, and have church services on Sundays. They have a smaller dining facility, and right now they're just doing lunch in the dining room. They bring breakfast and dinner to the rooms for them since COVID and everything has been going on. But they have an option, they go into the dining room for lunch or stay in the room, whichever they prefer.

My Mom passed and never received any condolences from the director Monique. Guess things change when it’s not required of someone to be nice or could be because I complained when things were not right. Just passed my emails off to someone else. Nurse Anne and CNA Gloria are the saving Grace of this place. Train your staff properly to show respect to family members and so they know what patients requirements are.

Our family experienced a horrible time here for mom. Or mom is diabetic and has kidney disease when requesting water it was always forgotten or took a very long time to get it. Many patients cry and the nurses are so understaffed they have to ignore them that was hard to see. Smells like urine. When we tried to take your mom out the administrator, Sarah would not let any of our phone calls go through to her mom and finally gave us a letter to stay off the property because we wanted to get her out. I understand this property was sold two years ago, it has very poor leader ship especially the administrator Sarah. She is definitely power-hungry and it is all about the money which they get a lot?

Louisa Health & Rehabilitation Center was great and decent. The people there were really nice and friendly. They were wonderful with Mom. The aides, the nurses, and the therapists worked with her to get up and work. They treated her with respect. I don't have any complaints whatsoever. I went down every day and got to eat lunch. The food was outstanding. Mom went around bare-foot. The community was clean and smelled good.

The staff is friendly but there needs to be more. My mother was in this facility and I found myself repeatedly having to assist in baths or she would not get one simply because she would refuse. She has dementia and this is not acceptable. If she did not eat, she was not given other choices or worked with. Also, they prefer all their patients to remain in wheelchairs to avoid falling but my mother enjoyed walking. They have a dining room but my mother was never informed or taken to the dining area. Instead she was given food in her room unless I was there to take her. This place is fine if you don't have dementia although they do have locks and alarms on their doors. Additionally, there are two people to each room and patients were moved around frequently, including my mother and the last person who was residing in her room kept taking my mother's clothes and wearing them. There were a few times I had to wash strong urine odor out of my mother's clothing due to this other person. I finely had to provide a lock on my mother's closet.

Louisa Health & Rehabilitation Center was clean. They do therapy with their patients, and their patients were well cared for. They seemed to have a good staff.

My mother was at Louisa Health and Rehab Center. It is very clean, shiny, and it smelled good. It's just over the top. They have a day spa, movie nights, and they have all kinds of activities. However, they could improve on the food.
