My mother is at Heritage Hall Leesburg. She came for therapy and then she just stayed here. It's a rehab nursing home. It's clean, but just an older building. The staff is amazing, that's why we're here. The staff is 100. They work as a team. They have exercise every morning, they have karaoke, and they have games. Three times a week they offer church. They have an activity room, so they're always doing bingo. Today, they have a company that comes in. Wednesdays and Fridays they engage with whoever wants to play like poker, and they teach them how to play. A lot of times the food has been pretty good, but some days are not that great.

It is clear from observing the folks here that the residents are the most important people. I have witnessed employees who are not normally involved in resident care will jump in when needed. I have never seen anyone lose their cool. I went to visit my wife one time and her room was totally empty as the staff had moved everything from the room and were scrubbing it down. Very impressive. Heritage Hall was home to my mother over 20 years ago while she recovered from a broken leg and I was so impressed by the place that when my mate needed a place to live, Heritage Hall was it for me.

Heritage Hall Nursing and Rehab is outstanding. I have been very happy with the treatment that my wife has gotten there. It's in a residential area, and it's not in a strip mall or a commercial area and it's very appealing that way. It's an older facility, but it's very well-kept. It's attractive with lots of trees and all that sort of thing, so it is physically appealing even though it's older. The people I met were superb, and it turned out to be that way. They've been fantastic. I have not eaten the food, but my wife has thrived on it, and she's doing very well because, after two weeks in the hospital, she wouldn't eat anything. They have activities, too. They have games, bingo, coloring projects, and lots of things like that. Medicare is paying for it. It's a great facility. I highly recommend it.

The entire staff is very professional and kind. They treated my mother very well. I was very impressed by the attention they gave her. The administrative staff kept in close contact with me and were always very responsive whenever I called. They were very thorough and forthcoming about what to expect. The nurses and CNAs were very good. The rehab staff was excellent and really worked with her to help condition her toward full recovery. My mother can be very picky and difficult to please, and the staff did a wonderful job accommodating her. The dietician made great efforts to provide her with her specialized needs, and he paid close attention to her preferences. My mother was not happy to have to share a room, but I believe this is the norm for patients on Medicare. Overall I was very happy with the whole experience, and I believe that Heritage Hall did as well as any facility could have done in this difficult situation.

I had an in-person tour of Heritage Hall Leesburg. They gave us a quick tour in there and it was the largest facility, let's say. I think it was maybe only one level, so everything was on the ground. But it just looked like there were just volumes and volumes of people everywhere, and kind of close together. With the COVID thing or whatever, it wasn't spacious and roomy. You're sharing a room split by a curtain, so that's not as quaint and homey as the other facility. I think the staff was like it was through her third week on the job or whatever, and that's okay. But it was just quick, pretty much walked in a big square and she was pointing to the left and right and showed us the garden. She did everything.

My mother just moved to Heritage Hall Leesburg and I've been visiting every day. So far, it's been OK. It's not a hospital, but it's been very fair and good. The place is very old. But with my mom's condition, old or new, or modern, it doesn't really matter. I think they would probably do much better if they were more technologically advanced; they've got everything written on paper. It's just that part, I think they need to catch up with the times. The staff responds and they do the best they can with what they have. I was there on a Sunday, they're a little short staffed. They're doing a good job with my mom. The facility is in good shape considering how old it is, and it's clean. I don't see any issues there. It's all just basically fair to good in general. They have activities and I talked to the activities person. They have bingo and other activities they do. Unfortunately, my mom is unable to participate because of her condition. Right now, with the value for the money, the insurance is covering it. They have the hospital food kind of deal but my mom seems to be eating most of her food. It's basic like cafeteria food, nothing great, but it's food.

My mother is in Heritage Hall Nursing and Rehab. They're fantastic. Everything is great there. We're very happy with the facility, the cleanliness, and the way they're treating my mom. It's also a rehabilitation center. She broke her arm, so they sent her there. We're looking to see if they can do long-term healthcare, and she can just stay there. That's what we would prefer. Right now, she's just doing physical therapy. She's in a room with two twin beds. Everything looked really clean. They have a courtyard, but we haven't seen it. We basically just gone to her room and come back out. It's well maintained. It's under Medicare. Her insurance is covering everything.

I visited my aunt at Heritage Hall Leesburg. The staff seemed caring, friendly, and accommodating. It was easily accessible. The facility was on the older side, but the decor was very up-to-date. She had a very small single room, but it was clean and well maintained. She was only there for six months. I would recommend it.

I was just released from Heritage Hall. I went there after being in the hospital for two weeks with a serious illness. I loved Heritage Hall. I can't say enough good about all the staff. The nurses were so kind and helpful. The aids helped me so much with daily tasks. The therapist helped me get my strength back. The dining room staff was fast. The housekeeping staff kept everything clean. Everyone who works there is so kind, compassionate. I miss being a resident there.

I was in Heritage for rehab. It was an excellent place. I thought the staff did an excellent job. The food was OK, and they had a lot of dedicated therapists. I had a double room in the older part of the building. It was acceptable, but a little short on space. You couldn't have 5 or 6 visitors there, but you could walk down the hall to the lounges. They had people who would give a bath in the shower in a separate place. They activities like bingo. Sometimes they had visiting artists and musical events. They had lots of books in the library, and they had computers. I didn't participate in some of those, so I don't know to what extent they were, but they also seemed to have religious ceremonies and services and thing like that. The dining room was my favorite place because they had good food. It was served promptly. You don't have to wait on anything. It was quite safe. If people stood up who weren't supposed to be standing up and they were in the wheel chair, people would run and would help you go back to your chair. It was safe because people were watching the patients, and it was safe because they had weekly fire alarm test. In general, they watched over the people very closely. I would recommend it.

I had my sister in Heritage Hall Nursing & Rehab and she passed away on the 26th of July. The staff that took care of her was very nice. The rooms were nice; they were clean. She had better care there than she did in the hospital. She was in their dementia unit. She had physical therapy. That was the only thing that she had because she was paralyzed on the right side.
