My mother-in-law is staying in an independent living called Dogwood Terrace by Barclay. She feels comfortable there. She has had a couple of problems with the apartment, but the maintenance comes in very quickly and fixes whatever needs to be fixed. The staff is very responsive. We have called them a few times because she was having some issues, especially when she moved in, with the internet and they worked things out very well so she could feel comfortable. Every time she has a problem, and she calls them, they don't just let things fall through the cracks. They find a resolution immediately and fairly quickly. She is also very happy with the food there.

Dogwood Terrace by Barclay was perfect for me. I liked the lady staff member. She helped me. She was very nice and very friendly. She showed me the apartments. She gave me all the information. I loved the location. Everything there was good, but the price was too high for me. The staff showed me the menu and the restaurant. She showed me everything there. We toured Dogwood Terrace by Barclay, but I would not like to live there at all. There was nowhere to even look at trees. They bragged that every apartment had a balcony, but the balcony view was parked cars. It was not especially nice. It just didn't appeal to me. The rooms were small, and the view was bad. Dogwood Terrace by Barclay is just independent living, but they have some people who stay there when they need more assistance. They have a care company that can come in. There was a man who gave me the tour and he was excellent. I was impressed with the size of the rooms. They had kitchenettes which means it doesn't have a stove, but it has a place for a refrigerator, a sink, and a countertop where you could put stuff like a microwave, a coffee maker, or whatever you wanted. I loved Dogwood Terrace. It's a beautiful place. I liked everything about it. When I walked in the door, it was just a feeling of warmth. There's nothing that I did not like about it at all. I love living at Dogwood. I tell everyone I don't know why I was afraid to move and wish I moved sooner. The staff are so kind and help out with everything. The residents become quick friends and if your like me you will start calling Dogwood home before you even realize it.

Dogwood Terrace makes my aunt feel safe. I love the staff. They are extremely friendly, understanding, open, welcoming, and available. They have bingo cards, TV nights, and they do a lot of stuff. Dogwood Terrace was the one I favored the most. The rooms were nice, and all of them had balconies. They had 1-bedroom and 2-bedrooms. I was happy with the 1-bedroom and the efficiency for one person. I liked that the balcony looked like it was sitting in a nice, wooded environment that went all the way around it. My tour experience at Dogwood Terrace was good. The person that gave me the tour was very informative. The rooms looked comfortable and clean. I didn't try the food, but I saw the dining area. It's spacious and clean.

Dogwood Terrace was real nice and real clean. The rooms were good size. We got to see a couple of different styles and units. Everything looked real well. The general age of the people living at Dogwood Terrace was a little older than what my friend is looking for. The gentleman I met with talked about it, and he said their sweet spot is 70's to early 80's, and my friend is only 60 years old. The facilities were gorgeous, the amenities were outstanding, but it was just not a community where it would be easy for my friend to have a lot of things in common with other people. There are a variety of rooms/apartments that are available. They are very nicely laid out and provide a welcoming atmosphere to residents. The staff takes a personal interest in the residents. Everything at Dogwood Terrace was very nice. They had a pool table, library, movies, exercise room, and beautiful dining room where they serve three meals a day. The staff was very friendly and nice. We liked it there.

Dogwood Terrace is very nice, the staff was very helpful, and the model apartment was very nice. I was offered the food, but I didn't try it. They offered 3 meals a day. It was nice enough that I would consider living there myself.

Dogwood Terrace was one of my favorite ones. I like it a lot. It was in a nice zip code or area, it's clean looking, you see a bunch of apartments where people are actually living in, and it was like an apartment complex. It was all connected, and inside there's a big dining area. It was fairly new, and it's very nice. They actually had apartments with balconies, the staff was friendly, and I was shown a studio, a 1-bedroom and a 2-bedroom.

I thought Dogwood Terrace was great. It was clean, but it was too far from me. If I had lived another 2 miles closer to them, it would have been ideal. I got a feeling of professionalism, and there was an overall feeling of care.

The residents at Dogwood Terrace encouraged me to move down there. It looked like a very nice place. The staff was friendly, the rooms were spacious and nice.
