We are all adjusted at Sanders Senior Living Community. My parents have been there since April, and we're very happy with it. It's an amazing facility. It's been fantastic. The staff has been amazing, and the administration has been amazing. The onsite physicians have been right there to take care of every need. My parents love the food. It's just a wonderful facility, and I would recommend it to anybody that needs a place for their parents for assisted living. They lost their main chef the first week my parents were there, and they're trying to get that back together. Most places you walk in and there's always a certain smell, but this place is clean, smells fresh, and just topnotch. I've seen the activity list for the month. They always have it posted and there's always something for them to do. Assisted living is expensive, so it would be great if it would be a little bit cheaper than what it was, but it is what it is.

I visited Sanders Senior Living Community. They have been around the longest, trying hard, and mostly succeeding. The rooms were larger, the staff was very helpful, and they went out of their way to help me out. They were having a concert when I went there. The dining area was small.

Sanders Retirement Village was very nice, clean, bright, and very homey. All rooms were single occupancy, not shared rooms, and very roomy and well lit with nice furniture and private bathrooms. They had a lot of activities, but I think they should include more physical activities because most of them were lectures and movies. My dad was more interested in physical activities like bowling and other games. The facility was in a very nice setting within a beautiful neighborhood a block away from downtown Gloucester, so it's very convenient for the residents. The staff was very nice. I would recommend this facility.

My mother-in-law was actually in Sanders for a little while in the rehabilitation part. Then she also stayed there full time for assisted living. This one I would give a high rating. Unfortunately, she could not afford it. It was quite a bit more money. Sanders Retirement Village is much newer, and the quality of things in there is much nicer. The rooms are excellent, and the furniture is of a nice quality. I didn't notice as much as activity as the other facility. But as far as the place, it is nicer because it is newer. I would recommend it if they can afford it.

Sanders Assisted Living is a facility that makes you feel like you never left home. Everything is just like your own house; it's private pay. The facility is well maintained. We talked to the director, and she was OK.
