We had an excellent experience at Rembrandt Assisted Living. My mother had a beautiful room with a nice view of the garden. The owners were very gracious and helped facilitate many details of the move-in. The med techs and caregivers were fantastic. The food was excellent and I liked the interaction with all the other residents. It is a very friendly and welcoming home. Mom's passing was very smooth. The staff was incredibly helpful.

I have nothing but good things to say about The Rembrandt. Though my husband was only there for several months at the end of his life, I never was concerned about the care he received. The common areas in the house are comfortable and kept very clean. His bedroom was more than adequate for his needs and the food is excellent, taking into account personal preferences as well as any needed medical restrictions. The owners, who are also caregivers and very involved with day-to-day operations, are very compassionate and competent. The team of caregivers they hire are excellent. They also worked seamlessly with hospice caregivers who were involved with my husband's care

My husband is a resident of Rembrandt Assisted Living. I found the facility more of a home-like environment, which I thought he needed over an apartment institutional look of their larger facilities. I felt that that type of environment with a larger staff ratio to the residents would be more attentive to my husband's needs in helping him to a better quality of life, providing the stimulation of physical activities, and attention to his personal needs. The building itself was originally a home that has been converted into an assisted living facility. It does have a staircase, but a chair glide is provided. They have a resident physical therapist in the home who helps the residents with their physical needs and encourages them to strengthen their legs and use this stair glide as well.

We chose Rembrandt Assisted Living for my husband because it's like a home. The administrator, Rene, is one-half of the husband-wife team. He's a physical therapist, and he's dealt with senior citizens for 30 years. He's very hands-on. His wife, Jenna, is the chef. Every time I go to the Rembrandt, I feel comfortable that that's the right place for him. He's in memory care. The food is prepared by Jenna. She is a top-notch chef and my husband likes the food. There are only eight residents. They're getting exercises and news of the day. A doctor and a dentist come to the home. They keep the facility clean.

I liked Rembrandt Assisted Living. It's a beautiful place like it is. I want her to go there, but that is something we can't afford. It was open and bright, and the residents were very cheerful and happy. I saw the caregivers that were there on staff helping, smiling, and encouraging the residents, whether it was helping them eat or helping them walk to the restroom. And the facility was just beautiful. It was decorated nicely and the staff was also very friendly towards me. Nobody was on their cell phone or anything like that. It seemed like a very loving atmosphere. They have personal training and physical therapy. The facility is nice and has a beautiful backyard for them to visit as well.

My mom will be moving into Rembrandt Assisted Living. The facility was bright, clean, and very roomy. It felt like a home that my mother would be comfortable in. They are brand new, so they only had a couple of people there who were out. Everything is included. They have a nice deck outside, a backyard, a TV space, plenty of room to move around, a shower, and a bathtub. It was lovely. The owners were wonderful.

Rembrandt had just opened it’s doors for business when we visited so no residents or caregivers were at the house so I cannot comment on that aspect, nor the activities. The owners, Jenna and Rene, showed me and my husband around the home and talked with us at length, answering our many questions. They were very caring and professional, and our philosophies on aspects of care, such as physical activity and nutrition, among others, were in alignment. The home was spacious and lovely with all the necessary equipment and the back yard looked like a great space to hang out and enjoy nature. I would recommend visiting and getting to know Jenna and Rene. I wish they had a house closer to me, as Falls Church is a bit far from where I live although still doable. My mom is still currently living in another state and we are making plans to transition her to be with us.

Having an aging parent, I wanted to look at local options for care. Jenna and Rene gave me a tour of Rembrandt Assisted Living and I was immediately impressed. It is tucked back on nice quiet street, the house is beautiful and the rooms are spacious and filled with natural light. Rene and Jenna are no less impressive. When they greeted me I felt very welcome and relaxed, as I told them about my father and what his potential needs would be. They were very knowledgeable about senior care and definitely inspired total confidence.

I visited Rembrandt as I’m looking at options to bring my father closer to me. What a beautiful and welcoming home! It doesn’t feel at all like a “facility”, it is furnished with lovely furniture and feels like you are walking into someone’s house. I met with Jenna, the co-owner, and she was warm and caring, clearly someone I would trust my father with. Jenna told me about the menus she creates and cooks for residents, in the lovely open kitchen on the main floor. The rooms are bright and sunny, and the entire house just feels so comfortable. The back porch and big yard really add to making it feel like a home and not a facility. And the fact that the owners are managing on site every day gives me a lot of confidence about the level of care. Overall, it’s wonderful to have such a great senior home right in our neighborhood.

I am looking for a place for my Mom and recently visited Rembrandt Assisted Living. The Administrator and co-owner Rene gave me the tour himself. My time with him was informative, relaxed and enjoyable. The whole place is very clean and has a friendly atmosphere. I liked that the large common area makes it easy for residents to socialize, watch TV or engage with staff prepping meals. There's easy access to the rooms upstairs with a wide staircase or by a stairlift. The location is convenient with many stores and pharmacies close by. I really think my Mom will like the outside area with tables and chairs and room to view the garden. The caregivers I met have a lot of experience and are very compassionate. I'm sure my mom will thrive here. Nancy S.
