My sister moved into Commonwealth Senior Living at Radford. I like the personnel. They are very caring, and communication is good. The place is pristine. The residents seem happy. It just had a very good atmosphere when I visited. I have looked at the dining room, and they are growing some of their own vegetables. They reached out to ask about my sister's preferences, which is good. They are very attentive. Even on the weekend, they have activities. The rate is very competitive. You get what you pay for.

Commonwealth Senior Living at Radford was really nice. The person who gave us the tour was great. The rooms were a good size. They have nice walk-in closets and good-sized bathrooms. It's in town. When you're in the community, it's quiet and you don't hear the traffic. The staff and residents seemed friendly.

I'm going to Commonwealth Senior Living at Radford. I tentatively rented one of their places down the hill. I toured it twice and I'm buying furniture for it. The manager mentioned that she had an available apartment on the main floor in the main building. My apartment is nice, but the main floor would be very nice. The main building had lovely main floor apartments and I like it because I can socialize better up there than just living in my little apartment. They're both on the same property. I just haven't seen the main floor of the building yet. I went with the property manager the first time and she was wonderful. They had the maintenance man come down with us the second time. It was a good tour. They were so friendly, thorough and had answers to every question that I asked. They just got an available apartment in the main building, and the property manager called me about it today, which I'm really happy about because it's nicer and it has more activities. The one I'm going to rent had a kitchen, a living room, and a bedroom. It's a one-bedroom, and I would be doing my own cooking. However, if I switched to the main building, I would have food. It's a different kind of service. I don't know a lot of the things they offered, but I know that they're friendly and I know they're active. I haven't participated because I've only been there twice just to view it, but it was excellent. I liked it. It's a lovely place. The property manager was excellent, friendly, outgoing, and very nice. It was a great experience.

My mom stayed in Commonwealth Senior Living at Radford. She had a private room and it just kept getting more and more expensive. And then they started out with another level of care, and then COVID happened, and I wasn't certain where this COVID thing was going, still not certain where it's going. So I moved my mom out of there. The least thing I could say is pricing, and the COVID thing was really hard on everybody. They were pretty much confined to the rooms, and meals were brought to them. My mom did OK with that, I think the staff handled it wonderfully, trying to make sure everybody was protected. But prior to COVID, she really seemed to have a good time there, and she made some friends, and she truly enjoyed their afternoon bingo games, and then evenings they would have different singers come in and sing to 'em. She really enjoyed that. They would take them on outings sometimes.

My mother-in-law is staying at the Commonwealth Senior Living at Radford, and I guess she is doing okay. She said it's a lonely, lonesome place. They have the COVID business going on, so it's on lockdown, but care-wise they are doing fine. She enjoys them, and they told me that she enjoyed them, too. I think they have been required to stay in their rooms, so I don't know if they have that many activities right now. Food-wise, I think she's enjoying what little she's eating. The building layout is very good, too. They have church services and a hair salon, but all of those things are out of bounds for her at this point because of COVID, but the staff were all very helpful, and I'm pretty pleased with them.

The people at Commonwealth Senior Living at Radford were really good and very helpful. The apartment was beautiful, but it was on the second floor with several stairs, and that didn't suit my mother very well because of her age. The tour was great and the people were great, and it looked like a very nice facility. We went into their assisted and independent living facilities. The dining room was very nice, and everything seemed clean and orderly.

I liked Commonwealth Senior Living at Radford a lot. The people were really nice. You could have your meals at the main facility and the rates were reasonable. They were having a special event at the time and the woman I met was really helpful. She's been there for two years and she loves it and she's very happy there. The food was delicious. I really liked it, but they're in the process of making changes. They had hired a bunch of new people. I had a very positive impression. I visited one room, and it was very nice and very clean. The people that I met were very nice, very accommodating, very friendly and had a great sense of humor. There was a lot of jovial conversation. It's a comfortable environment.

Commonwealth Senior Living at Radford was an excellent facility. I was very impressed with it. I thought it was well appointed. The people there were extremely knowledgeable and nice. They had a chef who was absolutely marvelous, so I knew they were getting good food. They told me what sort of activities they had. When I went over there, the ladies were coloring something and doing things. They had a bus that takes them out to do things as well.

Commonwealth Senior Living at Radford was a good spot but too expensive. It seemed great and the room that the staff showed us was good. It would have been easy access, but it was too expensive. It wasn't super expensive but it was too much for us. The room was clean and close to different things if my mother needed anything. The independent living people would have been able to cross the parking lot to the assisted living if they wanted to join in with what they're doing. It had a community feel to it.

Commonwealth at Radford was an awesome place, but the amount for living there was too expensive. They had art classes. They also had screened-in porches in the apartments. The apartments were awesome as far as if I ended up in a wheel chair I would be able to live there without having to remodel anything. They do not serve any meals; you will have to pay for those. The part that I liked about it was they contacted me many times after my visit, and they were awesome. It was just sad that I could not afford to move in there. They had a lot of things, and as far as outdoors, the trails were very open, and it seemed like a lot of people were out and about. It was just an awesome place. I just wish I could have moved in there.

Commonwealth at Radford was a very nice facility and the people were nice. I was pleased with what I saw. We met with the director who was very knowledgeable and spent an adequate amount of time with us, sp I was pleased with her, too. I didn't any problems with it.

The visit with Commonwealth was very positive. The director actually came out to meet my mother. It was during her lunchtime, and she spent about an hour with my mother. She has been very supportive and showed me the type of room where my mom will be living. We can fix it up any way we want. She provided suggestions on how to make the transition a lot smoother. I like the place, and I like their program. They have activity programs on what they do. The feeling I got from the program was that she can freely come and go. The family can come in, and they encourage family involvement in all activities such as meals. My mother likes flowers, so they showed me the gazebo area. There is a small garden walk area where she can be free to put flowers. And any suggestion or any reasonable request I have made, she was actually going to assist me in being able to provide those. It's like we can bring in a microwave or bring in the TV. We can setup the room like a living area or rearrange the furniture. I've actually selected this facility when the times comes that we have to move her. I've selected that program specifically because they spent so much time in speaking with me and supporting me. They even invited to come to a support group which I haven't done yet. I don't have any complaints at all. They have been more than helpful.
