Mom is at Sunrise of Fairfax. We chose that place for her because it is close to where the family lives. They also offered a special 20 percent discount on their room, so there was an incentive involved. Mom is in a studio. It's got a beautiful view and it's brand new. They are just having difficulties hooking up the telephone in the room, but the staff seems great. I've gone to lunch and dinner and the food was good. The service though is a bit slow (if you're on a prime schedule). There's been folks singing Christmas carols (twice she participated in that) and there's an activities coordinator that's been letting her know that there's activities going on. So, she's been trying to get my mom involved. For the area, it's a good value.
