My father is in Charlottesville Health and Rehabilitation Center. They've been great. The staff are really helpful and friendly. They've been very accommodating. The facility is very clean. They seem to stay on top of things. The food is not the best he has ever had, but he is kind of a picky eater. With regards to amenities, they have a community room where they have puzzles and some books and things. It's pretty minor, but it seems to serve the purpose. I see people in there. For what it is, I think everybody is pretty satisfied with it. It's an older facility, but it seems kind of basic to me. My father stayed in another facility in Charlottesville earlier in the year that was a little bit fancier and the decor was a little bit more updated and stuff, but I think Charlottesville Health and Rehab has been working on that in pieces, and the staff are very caring, too.

this is in my opinion the worst place you can take a loved one. my mother was not well taken care of , she was part of the Memory care program and they did not maintain the changing her when she needed to be change which allowed her to have a perpetual UTI. which again in my opinion expedited her end of life. so no this is not a place if you have the means not to bring someone you care about, if I could give a zero stars I would

I wasn't totally pleased with Charlottesville Health & Rehabilitation Center because I felt that my husband was released too soon. I was totally against it and I went to appeal. I'm not too happy with them right now. It was more because of the management than the actual employees. The actual employees were good with him. They're not consistent, for one thing. All of them got their own little things going on there; some of them will tell you one thing, and some of them will tell you something else. The food was alright, but some of it he couldn't eat. His diet was pureed. They gave him pureed vegetables, but some of the meat was just chopped up. He had a hard time eating the meat. They only thing I saw was them giving him was therapy and nothing else. They were pretty clean. They're also very expensive. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
