We liked the cleanliness at Commonwealth Senior Living at Cedar Bluff and the lack of any odors that you would normally find at a rest home. They had a large enough room to accommodate any recliners and things that we might need. There were some natural lights coming into the room. It was just the overall appearance, and the personnel who gave me the tour seemed to be very informative. I liked it overall. They had mostly everything, like laundry and hair care. They had home health that would visit my brother at extra cost.

Very poorly run. You have a handful of employees who care. The rest, do not. They are understaffed, overworked, and just worn out. Not properly trained. Med techs that aren’t qualified to be administering meds. Residents aren’t supervised as needed. Too many incidents. The one working that care are doing their best, but can’t be in two places at one time.please, if you have any other options, don’t put a loved one here.

Very poorly trained staff. No licensed nurses that actually administer medication. I myself am a nurse. They have aides that have a week's training on how to administer medication. These people don't know what the medications are for, their side effects, adverse reactions. I have friends that have had family members in this facility. Very poor administration who obviously does not care about the residents.
