My mother-in-law has moved into Cardinal Senior Living. What I like the best is the level of caring employees. They seem to care deeply about the residents. They have a lot of community involvement in their activities. They seem to be deeply connected and have community volunteers just to try and make life enjoyable for the residents there. They participated in the Christmas parade in Bedford and went to see Christmas lights one evening. They have pastors leading Bible studies and musicians leading singalong times and entertaining. The negative for me is the size of the rooms is small compared to other places that we've seen. It's an older building. They try and make it very cheerful. There are a lot of pretty paintings on the wall. They decorated a lot for Christmas. I think they try and make it as homelike as possible. It's near Downtown Bedford.

I went to Cardinal Senior Living. It was very nice, clean, and very quiet. The people seem to be happy. The rooms were very nice. The staff was very helpful and very professional, asking us if we had any questions and wanted to know if we had any more. A lady took us on the tour because the gentleman was busy that day with someone, but she was really great. We could not have asked for a better tour. The facility was very clean. There was no smell or anything.

We've placed my wife in Cardinal Senior Living. We've only been there two weeks now. My impression is that they're doing better than where we were, but they don't have very many patients there. It's a smaller outfit. It's a little more assisted living and then some. They give her more help in some things. They're a little more flexible than some of the larger ones. The facility is very good, nice and clean. Everything looks good. It's an older one, but they seem to have everything. They seem to be in charge and doing a good job with it. The staff and the services are very good. They are more attentive. You push your button and they're going to be there unlike the last place where she was, you push your button and you may or may not get anybody. I didn't eat there, but the food looked very good and my wife seems to like it. Most of the people there are eating and most of them eat a lot. She's still getting used to the place and she's in a wheelchair most all the time and hadn't been able to do some of the stuff that they were doing. The staff members are very competent and the good thing about it is we got a nurse that stays with her all the time. I don't have a change of nurses like some of the others we experienced. I don't know exactly what all they're doing, but it seems that everybody's enjoying themselves and they've got some rooms where they're playing cards and they've got some rooms where they're just relaxing. I was pleased with it.

We took a tour at Cardinal Senior Living and we couldn't afford them because they had a lot of extra fees. It was a very nice tour though. They all seemed very close, they knew the patients by name. The facility was nice, but it was really kind of small. The rooms were small and there was only room for a bed and a dresser. It was a community bathroom for everybody so you didn't have your own bathroom. Everything else was nice. The people were all very friendly. The residents were all happy and everything else seemed nice. I was looking for assisted living during my tour. The rooms were just really small, it's just room for a bed and a dresser and maybe a small closet. They had single rooms with one bed and then they had double rooms with two but there wasn't room for anything but the very basic. They didn't have room for a recliner or something for them to sit in like that. Some of them were having meals when I got there. It was basically just an open room with multiple tables that sat up to four people for them to have lunch or dinner or whatever together. They said they set up different activities for them. They charge extra for everything. Extra for laundry, extra for cable, and extra for a telephone.

My mother-in-law will be moving into Cardinal Senior Living. It seems very cheerful and professionally run. They have caring staff, it was a little lower priced than some of them that we have looked at, and it just had better accommodations. It seemed like a better fit. The manager, who is one of the co-owners, was very professional and helpful.

Cardinal Senior Living is very small. The staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable. The exterior was very well maintained. It's not extremely secluded, but it's not close to a road. There were lots of flat areas for residents to walk. They have a small beauty shop for residents. The facility is more like a house, so it has lots of small areas. Those are the two things that made us choose a different facility. It's also darker and has darker walls. It does not have many large windows, and the gathering space for residents was small with narrow hallways. For our mom, who's used to being able to be out, we just think she would not be out as much as she normally is. We felt like that would be very confining for her. Also, she kind of fit in between their two places. Her memory is not good enough really to be in assisted living because she would have what's called a wonder guard; she would have to wear that. It would automatically lock the doors that she tried to go out, so that that was not very ideal. The memory care people were much more severe and profound than she is. She is very verbal and mobile, even though what she says isn't true. She would not have anybody there to interact with. They have several very nice outdoor patios and covered porches for their assisted living people. They had a small garden that was secure for the memory care. Because mom would need the security, she really couldn't go out onto the covered patios that they had for assisted living; there would be no one to watch her. She could wander off. There just wasn't an in-between for her at Cardinal. The tour was great. They answered all of our questions. They anticipated what questions we might have, showed us things that we might need (but might not need). They showed us everything regardless, so that we would have an idea of everything that they offered. They take their residents on field trips, which is very nice.

My mother-in-law moved into Cardinal Senior Living. We're very, very pleased. They've been wonderful. The apartment is fine, and she's in a private room. So far, everything's been good. We haven't met a lot of the other staff because of COVID. They do have a little courtyard. They do the laundry, they've just been really good, I think there's a beautician, and we're just so far very pleased.

My mother is living in Cardinal Senior Living. It's very nice, they're very friendly, very clean, the food is good, and she's very happy there. They're very helpful, they have been reaching out to me a lot with this coronavirus, but they're really good and try to keep the residents happy. I received a card yesterday from mother in the mail. They had them write notes to family members that they're missing. They're really good about that. Mother was able to do some bowling and play some games before the coronavirus hit.

Everything about my tour at Cardinal Senior Living was great. The rooms were clean and nice, they're just regular-sized rooms. The staff who gave me the tour was excellent. I've observed that the residents all look happy, everybody looks happy. We visited at lunch time so they weren't doing any activities. They also have a place for people to read.

Cardinal Senior Living was very nice. I met with the director for over an hour, I got to look at everything, and I was very impressed. I got to meet a couple of the nursing staff, and they were all very helpful and very kind. The rooms were bright, and I really liked that everybody had their doors open and people were meeting out in the hallway. I thought that was nice. They had enclosed porch which people used, the eating area was fine, and they had an area for people having more difficulties. That was separate from the other place, they had 2 staff members there all the time, and that was nice as well.

Cardinal Senior Living is small and they seem to show a lot of personal attention. It's clean, comfortable, and it's good overall. They take the residents out on occasional outings, they went out for ice cream yesterday, and folks come in to play games and do crafts with them. They do lots of stuff with them on a regular basis. The value is really good as well. It seems to be a really good community. They eat family style, and it's good for them.

I toured Cardinal and I did not care for it. I think they had to do so much work to upgrade the place, and they've made a lot of improvements over the recent years, but it's just not everything I've hoped for for my step-dad. The administrator and owner who gave us theaq tour was excellent. The dining area needs upgrading. The tables are just like kitchen tables. They really didn't have much and they're weak on amenities.

I found Cardinal Senior Living to be an excellent facility. The staff seemed to be very caring. I had no issues with them at all. They were quite above board. They showed me examples of each of the facilities that were available. The staff member that I encountered was very professional and caring with the residents that I saw. The facility was clean and attractive.

I visited Cardinal Senior. Except for one resident, they were very friendly, but it's just not what I was looking for because I didn't want a roommate. The person who assisted me answered my questions, he was very helpful, and informative.
