My Husband is a Vet and was transferred here from the VA Center for Physical Therapy and skilled nursing care. The room is clean and the facility appears clean and smells that way too. Each staff member that came into our room introduced themselves and explained why they were there and what they wanted him to do. The schedule of activities and meal times were displayed in the room. The hospital bed is an older model and loud when it goes up and down but it does the job. I could not find linens in the room but when asked they brought them to me. I was disappointed that his medications were not already there form the ordering pharmacy but they did arrive in the evening The bathroom had a high toilet commode and paper towel dispenser. There is no shower in the rooms. There is a lovely courtyard where you can go and sit. It was a nice break So far the care has been great. They answer the call light promptly and the food is pretty good. Ill be back after discharge if there is more to tell.

We used this facility for a mom with dementia. Using for respite. She cannot due anything for herself. CNA or whoever said she grabbed the Juice it was spilled on her pants during lunch on second day all over her and wheelchair. When we picked up on 5th day still juice all over the seat sticky all over wheelchair. It took 4 days to find her clothes we brought. Apparently in laundry. We left her blanket that was never with her till we found in the tv room still in the bag. Why was her bag in there in the first place? They put her in a room with another resident. On a horrible bed against a wall. Asked continuously to turn bed so she could watch tv. Never happened. Other things happened but the last day they said she tried to stand up and fell out of wheelchairs and cut her head open and nose. They wanted to send her to get stitches to hospital. When we got there we looked for her clothes, still missing some, and checked her out . Took her to a different hospital . If you want even “good” care Please reconsider this facility.

This is terrible place with horrible management. My dad was not given his medication and was repeatedly ignored by nursing staff. The shuttle left him waiting for dialysis and never showed up. He was left in his room with life threatening vital signs and no one came to check on him. When we complained to management they said their staff had done nothing wrong. They actually changed their story between the previous evening and the next day in order to avoid blame. I would never leave m a loved one here. I wouldn’t leave an enemy here. No one deserves the kind of treatment they deliver.

I would never recommend Copper Ridge Care Center take anybody I was there a lot to visit a resident there and when she needed to go to the toilet she pushed the button would be probably 30 minutes before they got there she would try to get up and walk herself she fell so many times her face was bruised and one of the aides that was taking her to shower hit her toe on the wall and she's a diabetic and it scraped it open and they had to put a pic in to give her antibiotics and it took her way down and she finally died it's a very very bad place and I do not like the CNAs that are there or the nurses I would even recommend it to my worst enemy there were times when she didn't even get her meals they never gave her her snacks or anything I don't even feel like they deserve one star

I have never witnessed such horrible staff at this facility. Not to mention the safety concerns that you can walk in and out 24 hours a day with no after hours locks on front doors . No staff sits at the front where there is a station but nobody t9 validate who is entering the building Then when i finally saw staff they didn't question who I was or who I was here to see. My mom went 9 hours without pain meds because they didn't know where the driver was that picks up the orders the staff forgot to give them my mom's. I have so much more but don't take loved ones here!

My mom is in Cooper Ridge Health Care. She has been there for a week and a half now. I’m not happy with them right now, not at all. For one thing, when we called and they were trying to get transfer to my mom’s room, they were having a hard time to get transferred -- especially when her other kids who live out of state are trying to get a hold of her to make sure she is OK; they have a hard time. When she first got in there, I visited her the next day and she had soiled pants sitting on a chair in her room. Also I just got off the phone with her, and she was crying because when she presses the button, they don't responding to her, so she is just sitting in her room, and they don’t care. Some of the staff has been really good, but then some of them has been kind of rude. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. The facility is clean though.

If you want loved ones to have immediate care and more constant supervision this may not be the place for you. We are also concerned that a "Skilled Nursing Facility" has completely untrained 18 year old boys working directly with elderly dementia patients in rehabilitation from major surgeries.

The staff was excellent when I toured Copper Ridge. She spoke to all the people by name as we walked down. The dining room looked fine. The rooms for the nursing home part weren't warm, and there were two in a room; I didn't like that at all. It wasn't homey. Their rooms need to be warm, and they should make them more personable.

Copper Ridge Health Care had in-staff physical therapist and that was very good. The management was very good but the front office and financial department were terrible. Their marketing people and manager were aware and tried to correct what needed to be. The facility was clean. Although, they were more worried at remodeling the facility than to the residents. Understaffed and inexperienced staff when it came down to the aides and CNA's. The nursing staff in the rehabilitation area for older people were not helpful, had poor communication and sometimes they did not know where anybody was. They were careless and they transported my mom to the doctor in the middle of winter without a coat and shoes, only a blanket over her.

My loved one was here on the short term rehab side recently. The staff truly acted liked they cared. The therapy was outstanding and Dad was able to reach his goals in no time. The communication was great, the facility clean.

My mom went from the hospital to Copper Ridge Health Care. I go there every day, and I don't consider that a nice facility. They definitely need some improvement, especially in the Alzheimer's unit. All they do is feed the residents, put them all in the activity room, and just have a TV on and leave them unattended. I've seen very little activities. Most people are in wheelchairs and there are few people that are walking. They have aides there but they wander off and do different things. I don't think you should leave a group of 20 Alzheimer patients unattended even if it's only for 15 minutes.

The Legacy Rehab Center is the worst ever. I would suggest never having anybody you care about go to this facility for rehab. My mother was there after having major back surgery and fell 4 times in the month she was there. One of the times she fell, they say they did x-rays and everything was fine--not so! Took her back to the surgeon and she has fractured her spine--this is after them saying she was fine. One of the times we activated the nurse call button because she needed help, it was at least 45 minutes before they came in. The response when they finally walked in was, "What do you need?" There were one or two of the aides that acted like they cared, but everybody else, including the case worker, did not even seem to want to do their job. We have dealt with other rehab centers and would never recommend this place to our worst enemy! I wouldn't even give it one star.

this is a beautiful facility. It is clean and homey looking and has nice paintings on the walls. It is spacious and they have a lot of interaction with the residents. The alzimers wing is plesant and you don't dread going in there to visit.
