Absolutely terrible. They roll patients around like rag dolls even pulling on their injured limbs. They make up reasons to give them sedating medication as much as possible so the patient will sleep and nurses don't have to take care of them. They don't change them when they soil themselves sometimes for hours resulting in infections and sores. They throw pillows and blankets on the floor when changing the beds and then use them. They litteraly do the least amount of work possible. Pure laziness. If you ask for anything at all they act completely annoyed. If your loved one doesn't understand "spanglish" do not send them here, a patient can't answer questions when they have no idea what a nurse is saying to them. Its very clear they do not care about patients well being or recovery as they will not help them get out of bed at all unless you beg and ask repeatedly. They are just left in bed to deteriorate. On the plus side, the therapists aren't terrible and the room and building are nice. Clean looking but not what I would call sanitized.

I stayed there. I had trouble eating because despite many requests, the kitchen would NOT cut my servings into small pieces . I have only one functioning hand, so there were times I just gave up.

Aspen Ridge was very good. I like it. As far as I can tell, they had the best ratings in the county. They're good except my mom couldn't go there. It was a skilled nursing facility and Medicare wouldn't have paid for it because my mom hadn't been at her home for 60 days, so we couldn't put her there. However, it seemed to be a really nice place. The rooms seemed to be spacious.
