We have chosen Legacy Village of St. George for my mom. It is a nice place, but the housekeeper wasn't giving all her towels back. There were a few washed clothes that were in her room that wasn't hers. I gave them back to the desk and told them they weren't my mom's. The staff is nice except for the little issues that they have. But even though they are nice, they need to correct a few things. It's probably because it's a new place and they're still learning. They are short-staffed in the dining room. Since they're short-staffed, sometimes my food came cold. One night, the residents were waiting and waiting for their food to arrive and they were getting impatient. Two of their staff members came in and helped in the kitchen and tried to get things going. Their communication is terrible, probably because they're still new. I told Karen, the activity director, that I put my mom in the activities but they never got the message. The facility itself is gorgeous. They have a pool, a spa, and 2 dining rooms. They provide transportation for the residents.

Legacy Village of St. George was very clean, it's brand new, and everybody was friendly. Everything looked almost too refined and setup. They're almost full. If a person wanted to move there, it's just like every place else. They would have to go down or see the room that's available. If there is one, look it over, see if that's one you want, and then put your money down to hold the room. I was invited for lunch later on for this week. I was given the pass for lunch, but I texted the gal that was in charge of showing me the rooms and I said I'd like to have lunch there but she didn't get back with me on the lunch.

I toured Legacy Village of St. George. It's very welcoming. The people are awesome as far as the workers. They have everything that you need, that anybody would need. The rooms are very well thought out, and they are plenty big, and they make them look bigger. But square footage-wise, they're not necessarily bigger. But they're very well done. The food is outstanding. As far as activities, they have ping pong, a swimming pool, a Jacuzzi and they have a little putting green. They have pickleball and billiards.

Legacy Village of St. George is a new facility that is on par with the other place. It's an outstanding feature, aside from the quality of the facility, is they have a cap on level care. That is, the monthly fee that you start with is the cap for all level of care that increases over the lifespan of the resident. So that was a very strong candidate for me. The staff seemed conscientious and well-trained. It's a nice size. It's not too big and it's not too small. The population of memory care residents is at a manageable 30 occupants. The facility is brand new, it is of high quality and it provides a world outside of the memory care facility, and that's what I like. The amenities are top-notch. They have a lot of activities.
