We are residents of BeeHive Cottages. We like them. They take really good care of us. We love the food. We love the independence of being in the cottage instead of a facility. The help they give here is very good. They're just so willing and happy to help us with anything we need help with. They've been so good. They do a very good job with maintenance and housekeeping. It's very lovely. It has lots of flowers and bushes and they take very good care of them. Today, they went on a tour around the city. They took the bus, and I think they stopped and got ice cream somewhere. They have a band or some entertainment come in about once a month, and then they have other entertainment, too. They have a small library and some activities besides that. The food has been very good so far. Value for money is very good.

BeeHive Cottages is owned by a private owner. It's not a corporation. The only thing it doesn't have is if you end up where you have to go to assisted living, you have to pick out another place to go because it doesn't have that. It's independent living. There are a few people that live there that have walkers and stuff like that, but if you want some assistance, you'd have to hire someone separately. The cottages were very nice. They looked like something that should be out in the forest somewhere. The person who showed me around was very nice. The people that lived there were very nice. I only saw a couple of them. We went into the kitchen area and the chef was really nice. The kitchen is always open. So, it sounds like if you got hungry or you want a snack, you go in and order.

This place is a blessing to our family. My mom, 90, has been there a year now during this year we have found a second family. The staff is so very helpful. Mauri and Ann are the best, their love for the residents shows in everything they do from taking them to appointments, shopping, having fun groups come in to entertain, to celebrating each holiday! Being there to help in medical emergencies or just a listening ear. You couldn’t ask for better managers. The kitchen staff is great and so friendly. They do their best to make sure the dietary and nutrition requirements are met. They provide great food choices and the best bread in the state! I have shared many meals with my mom there and the food was great. The extra staff be it, house cleaners or servers get to know the needs and wants of each resident. They are very friendly and helpful alway and ready to wave and share a smile. Not only do they have a great place to live, one or two bedroom cottages, but a kitchen, and bathroom to meet the needs of the residents. Storage and a garage plus a fully groomed front and back yards. Pets are allowed and a pet park is provided on site. I would recommend Beehive Cottages to anyone looking for a great place to retire or to give a piece of mind for your aging parent. I am very grateful we found the Cottages. I personally feel that for the price and everything included this is a wonderful place to live.

The cottages are either one or two bedrooms, full bathroom with walk in shower, full-size stack washer and dryer, living room with dining area and fully equipped kitchen. The bedrooms have walk in closets and the shared garage contains a lockable storage closet. Front porches provide a pleasant area for people-watching and visiting. There are also back patio areas. The food is exceptional. Fruit, juices and cereal are always available for breakfast along with eggs cooked to order plus other treats during the week. Two entrees are available at the main meal at noon. A light meal is offered in the evening.

I am looking for a place for my Dad and toured Beehive Cottages. I was very impressed with the amenities, staff, and safe layout of the community. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful during the tour. The cottages are exactly what I was looking for my Dad's independent living. They're clean and just the right size for him. I would feel very comfortable knowing he would be safe and watched over by such a caring staff here.

I visited Beehive cottages looking for a place for my husband and I. Was impressed with the choice of either a 1 bedroom or two. Perfect size. Also having a garage is a plus. I liked the look of each cottage. The landscaping was beautiful. The option of having my meals prepared was also a plus. The manager of the facility was very informative and had a great rapport with everyone. Also thought it was a good competitive price. I’m not quite ready yet to move there but will definitely look back at this place when we are ready.

The area was so clean and bright. The staff was so friendly and you could tell they are very passionate about what they do. They also gave me the chance to speak with some of the residents and ask about their experiences and everyone that I spoke with had the best things to say. I've toured a couple of senior living homes in Utah and this one was leaps ahead of the rest. 10/10 recommend looking into Beehive Cottages

What I like best about Beehive Cottages is that I'm on my own. I have a garage and my own little cottage. I still drive a little bit just locally and this gives me freedom. Then all I have to do is walk across the street to the dining room for my meals, and they have activities for us and they're very caring. We usually have our large meal at noon and they have different activities. Then on Fridays, they usually take us on some kind of scenic ride if we want to go. They have groups come in. I'm not a crafty person, but they do some crafts if you're interested. They put puzzles together. They will provide service to take you to any of the activities going on in the town. Like they have Christmas time and different programs and things like that. So they keep you as busy as you want to be, but you don't have to participate if you don't want to. The food is very good. We went through a period where they're having a hard time finding a chef because there are so many places in St. George that are competing for the same workers, but it's very good now. It's gotten it all straightened out. The staff are very good. The money is also very good. At this time, everything's more expensive and I've been amazed at how they've been able to keep our services like they are. I'm sensing that it's probably going to have to go up a little bit to stay like others are.
