I had my mom stay here after her surgery with the understanding that staff would let me know if any changes to get condition. 10'days after being here my mom fell out of bed and broke her arm trying to go to the bathroom because the bed setting was way too high. I didn't find out until the days later when I was able to visit. The nurses failed to tell me when I would call get daily to check on her. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The staff are nice but fail greatly art their jobs

Horrible. My father in law was here for 3 1/2 months and it was one of the worst experiences of our lives. The care was awful - there were 3 separate times when the CNAs would check my father in law's brief with my husband in the room, see that he had a bowel movement and then put the brief back on, not changing him. My husband had to prompt them to do so. He would wait usually 15-20 minutes after pressing his call light, sometimes hours. There were several times that his call light was not working at all. The CNAs would not follow serious doctors orders. It was a horrible experience on the first floor of that building. In addition, he was moved there from the sister building, against our permission and without notifying us (!!!) by the sister building's administrator. Horrible experience all the way around.

Located off Orchard Drive and 5th west in Bountiful, Utah, this facility has been improved upon over the past few years. Many of the residents have lived here for quite some time. Despite all appearance, we always felt it was one step above being in prison. The nursing staff put in long hours and most are extremely overworked. At times, they appear to ignore the residents and the way that I've witnessed the staff speak to these residents has made me wonder how they got their jobs. However, this said, the nursing staff does take its job seriously and do ensure that health is of the utmost importance. Even if the nursing staff doesn't interact more with the residents than they get paid to, the residents themselves seem to interact well with each other. If you're looking for a nursing home with a close knit residential community, it's a great atmosphere. If you're looking for highly paid health care professionals who are patient and not overworked, you might want to look somewhere else.
