My sister n law was in the facility for several months before passing. Her room was kept clean the staff I encountered were very helpful and courteous. I didn't see any activities going on. I did see the staff interact with my loved one in a caring and compassionate manner. I would recommend this facility because of the staff.

My husband was at University Park in Wichita Falls for a couple of weeks. He was in long-term care, and our experience was very positive. The staff was very helpful and very supportive. It was a very nice stay. We only left because he got a bed closer to home here in Lawton. I didn't see his room. I visited with him in the lobby. The layout was fine, and it looked like an older building, but it's been kept up well. It was clean, there were no odors, and the residents there seemed happy for the most part. It was a good facility, and I would recommend it. I didn't eat anything there, but he didn't complain about the food. The lobby had a television, a sofa, and a small table with a couple of chairs. I didn't see the dining room, but the lobby was sufficient and clean. They had an ice-cream party for the residents when I was there. That's the only activity I saw because I was only there two different times before he was transferred. The atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. Everyone was friendly. They did the appropriate screenings for COVID, they had visitors sign in, and everyone was wearing a mask.
