Peach Tree Place is a good place. They seem to be taking care of my uncle well, and he seems happy there. His room is nice and clean, but I haven't seen the inside of it because of the virus. The outside is nice, and we've seen the common area through the window; it seemed clean. The nurses are attentive. They try to let the residents go outside, they take them on walks in their yard, and they watch TV. The staff has been very good. He fell at some point and hurt his hand, but the staff immediately noticed it. They communicate very well about any issues that come up. I would recommend them.

I found several horrible bed sores on my aunt. I found her in the dining hall and she could barely hold her head up. I asked nurse what her blood sugar was and she said she didn't know what I was talking about. My aunt was diabetic and came in with insulin, apparently she wasn't getting it. I found black bedsores on her also that they didn't know anything about. She passed away several days later.

My mom has lived at Peach Tree for about 3 years and has late stage Alzheimer's. The caregivers at Peach Tree are wonderful! They treat the Residents with respect, care, and lightheartedness. My mom is always happy when I visit her and seems to love all of her caregivers. The ratio of residents to staff is the best of any facility I've ever seen. She is well fed, they have music and movies and volunteers who come and entertain. The recent renovations have lightened and improved the feel of the place. The business office has helped me with filling out paperwork for Medicaid and are always quick to answer questions. I retired to Oklahoma and would love to move Mom to a facility here but she is so happy and well cared for at Peach Tree that I am afraid it would be too unsettling to move her. Besides my siblings would be really unhappy with me if I took her so far away from them.

My family member was dehydrated to the point that her gums were cracked and bleeding, taken off diabetes medication without a word to the family. Then they failed to check her blood sugar for months. Would not recommend this facility. I would not leave my dog here.

We have found Peach Tree Place for my father. We chose it because it was our only option at the time for a place that accepts Medicaid, and it was a lockdown facility. My father has Alzheimer’s. They have some activities but not what I would recommend for people like that. They are mostly music, and they have crafts and bingo. However, they don’t keep my father clean as we would like, and they don’t pay enough attention. To be able to take care of the quality of people that they have and the needs of those people, they would need more help.
