My Mother has been a Resident at Autumn Hill Manor, Weatherford TX for several years now. She calls it “HOME”, to me that is the best review I can give. It means the world when your Mother is happy where she lives. The Director of the facility is great to work with and easy to talk to. The care givers really care. The grounds and interior are kept meticulously. I appreciate Autumn Hill Manor.

The rooms are very well designed and are nice. The staff is awesome, the Director Gina is very professional and personable. She makes sure each resident is getting whatever type care is needed. They serve home cooked meals. The cleaning staff does an excellent job. Never had the stinky smell that is in most other facilities. I highly recommend this place for your loved one, I know personally the care given to ours.

The care is so good at Autumn Hill. My Mother, resident for over 14 years and she loved it there. The care is great, the room was just right for her, the food is good. If you want individual care this is the place. It's like a family there, not a Hugh place where you get lost in the shuffle.

My dad moved into Autumn Hill Manor. I like the location. It's a smaller community. Everyone is really nice. His room is comfortable and spacious. The staff are very friendly and seem very competent. The food is good. It's as close to home-cooked as you can get, and the food is very well done. They have group activities, group games, and exercise plans. There's a chess club, and they play checkers and dominoes, that kind of thing.

We have chosen Autumn Hill Manor for my dad. He hasn't moved in yet, but we're working on that right now. The staff is very helpful. I just walked in one day and asked if I could look around and take a look at the facility. They didn't have a problem with that. My sister toured it. My two other brothers were here, and they toured it. I haven't talked to the facility manager, but my sister did, and she was very impressed with the help and service that the assistant gave her. They're going to work with us on the financing and help with the VA filing, and everything seems to be working to our advantage right now. They have private homes, plus they have single rooms with large bathrooms and large rooms. The only thing they furnish is utilities, so we'll have to take my dad's furniture from here to over there, but that shouldn't be a problem. They have a game room, activities, and transportation, and they provide meals.

Autumn Hill Manor was OK, but it wasn't my favorite place. You get a room with a bathroom and a shared dining area, but it wasn't that nice. They had a community room where they did chair exercises and games. They also had outside areas.

I didn’t like the fact that the Autumn Hills Manor was divided into four separate living areas. Each building is totally separate and has separate eating and separate exercising with only about 12 people in there. If you want to do any of the community activities, you had to go to the community center. The only activity they really mentioned was exercise. They had two ro three different types of exercises, like stretching and yoga. They served lunch, breakfast, and dinner; lunch is their main meal, and then dinner is a little lighter. The lady was very knowledgeable and had been there for 11 or 12 years or so. She was able to answer every one of my questions about call assistance or checking with the VA for any type of financial assistance and transportation issues.

Autumn Hill is the very best in Weatherford. I found it from my sister-in-law, and when I get in it was a good thing. It was a blessing and so I didn’t go anywhere else. I like their care, the people that worked there worked there a long time, there is no fast turnover, and they cooked meals from scratch. They treat the patients great, and it’s the best. I searched a long time ago for my sister-in-law, and that’s the one I chose. When my friend went down here she absolutely loved it. I found no problem at all with Autumn Hill, it is perfectly clean, and it’s like going into somebody’s home. They have activities, and the nurses would come in. When we would go visit her she would say they take care of her and I asked her if she wanted us to get her a little refrigerator to keep snacks and said no. All the time if you want something or you need something that is taken care of.

Autumn Hills Manor is excellent, excellent, excellent! It is really nice, but also very expensive. Everything looked like The Hilton. The community was very personable, very quiet, pleasant, and beautiful. They have nice, big gardens. The facilities were really nice. It was very clean, and they have really good groundkeepers. The staff interacted really well with the residents. They were really warm and friendly. The people were very happy there. They had bird ladies visiting, showing them different parrots, and the residents just all loved that and were very engaged.
