I was at Avalon following my stroke in January 2018. They saved my life! When I arrived I couldn't walk or swallow solid foods. 45 days later I walked out of their wonderful care and went home to my family! They are the best! Judge this place by the present. NOT the past!

I am a church member who loves to volunteer at Avalon. I have many friends who are at Avalon receiving rehab. My friends continue to praise the staff and their whole rehab team. Everyone has seen the change at Avalon Place Trinity from years before. Avalon now has a team that works together and cares for each resident. The food is exceptional! I occasionally eat with my friends because the food is delicious. You can walk into Avalon and it smells so clean. The residents are always doing fun activities and you are always welcome to fish at the pond. The outside is beautiful where you can have picnics, walk, or run outside the facility. I can talk about Avalon Place Trinity forever. Avalon is the heart of Trinity and I am so glad they have came full circle and bounced backed to find such a great staff that cares. If you need rehabilitation or nursing care I would definitely recommend this place 100%.

My family has been in Avalon from my grandmother, most her sisters to my aunts, and then my mother. They need to tare this place down. The reason my mother was there is so my father could go there as much as he wanted. The last 9 days of my mother's life was horrible. The day shift was the best, Ifor i could hire all the kitchen , I would. They made sure we ate. They took care of my momma, made sure my daddy ate. You could tell when shift changed, you saw no one unless you went to find them and then the excuse was we are short handed, or I'm new I don't know. They need a new administration., because unless you call state he don't care. Never will one of my family members stay there. I hope the new home on 19 will be great and be properly staffed at all night and day

The staff is not trained well enough to take proper care of the residents there. Upper Management don't know the left hand from the right hand and will keep information from you.

I had both mom and dad at Avalon Place. The facility is pretty good and the rooms are pretty clean. Their dining room is good as well as their food. I think they have bingo – they got all kind of stuff during the week. The facility is a lot cheaper, but they are just kind of shorthanded in terms with the staff.

Great food, great activities planned, unintelligent nurses, and the dr's just don't care. The facility could stand to be a little cleaner.
