Edgewood Manor talked a real good game. They said that they would do the therapy and my mother would be able to walk the halls and talk with the other people that were there. They've got a hallway. Because of CDC (I didn't know about the CDC), when you go into a facility, you're not allowed to go anywhere essentially except they could take her to the activities room and the physical therapy room, and she could be there in her room for 14 days. I would like more interaction with the staffing when you arrive at the front desk, more entertainment for our family who lives there. The staff is pretty friendly with the patients as far as I can see, the food has improved, need more activities for them to do, and they stay to themselves to much for me🎶

My parent is at Edgewood Manor. We visited a few, and it seemed like the best fit. I like most its environment. Also, the staff is very good.

My husband was a resident of this facility for a short period of time (1-1/2 months) prior to his death in August, 2005. Although the decision to place him in a nursing home was a difficult one, it was made much easier upon visiting the facility and meeting the staff.
