Laurel Glen at Stephenville Assisted Living & Memory Care

I went to Laurel Glen at Stephenville Assisted Living & Memory Care. It's very clean. It's big. They have individual rooms for the memory care area. They have it where you locked in only the people that work there that can be able to get in the memory care area. And they have the rooms. They have a set schedule for the people with dementia to have a routine going on, so that way they can keep their mind and their bodies going other than just sitting there and declining. So, the rooms that they have is pretty big. They also have a shared room with another patient there. And it's only five minutes from my house. And right now it's marking the borderline of affordable for her. Now, when the level of care increases or starts getting worse there may be some financial issues, but we'll work down that line when that time comes. Right now, my aunt is able to take care of herself. She just has memory gaps and starts wandering off. But this place seems good. The medicine involved with the level of care is included. We can bring in her furniture so it can feel more like home for her. They have gardening going on and they have their own vegetable area and fruit area of gardening. It seems like very clean, too. It seems like they interact with the elders a lot.

Laurel Glen at Stephenville Assisted Living & Memory Care is very nice, but it's more of an assisted living, and it was more than what we could afford. It was a very nice facility. They're very friendly too. It was very nicely decorated. It's been remodeled. It was very clean. It's also a small community. The staff who assisted us during our visit were very nice, very friendly, and helpful. They called back to find out if there was any way that they could help us, which was very nice, but it was more than we could afford.

Laurel Glen is an amazing facility. Beautiful inside and out. Director is wonderful at her job & helps the whole family with the transition into AL. Staff is top notch at every level from nursing care to activities to facility maintenance to salon. On site therapy has been a huge help. Apartments are good size & so clean. We could not be more blessed with Mothers care.

My mother-in-law was in assisted living at Laurel Glen at Stephenville Assisted Living & Memory Care. Everything was fine. It was a really pretty, nice, and well-kept place. She complained about the food, but she's picky. They had a salon, activities, arts and crafts, and exercise class. They had physical therapists that would come in. They had a full-time nurse on-staff, and they took very good care of her when she was sick. We liked the nurse very much. They checked on her daily. They did her laundry and all that stuff. It was a good place. It wasn't as nice as the others, but it's still well kept. She didn't have a full kitchen there. She just had a studio. She was there for about two years.

Laurel Glen at Stephenville Assisted Living & Memory Care was a nice and clean place. The staff was very knowledgeable. They have game rooms, laundry services, and a place to get their haircuts.

Laurel Glen at Stephenville Assisted Living & Memory Care was very warm and very comforting. I saw more activities there at the time that I visited. There was a person from one of the churches that were having a Bible study and they showed me their activity room. Their apartments were very clean and very livable. The whole staff was very friendly, very knowledgeable, and very helpful.
