I am a friend of a former resident. I like the fact that from the moment i walked in the door it felt like a homey feeling. Walking down the halls, I would get greeted by the staff with either a hello or a smile I noticed when they were doing activities that the residents were very engaged and also the employees helping residents.

I went to Good Tree. The building seems a little outdated and they only have eight rooms for the memory care locked in. But it's more for assisted living, where the people would have their own duplexes. As far as the lady who gave the tour, she was very kind. If that place was available and pricing was good, I might take my aunt there. It's not very big though for the memory care area. So, I don't know if my aunt would kind of feel even more locked in. And I don't want her to feel like that, too. It's a very clean place. They're interactive with the people and they also have activities for them. I think she said they also have a schedule for them to keep them activated and motivated.

We are in the process of signing up for 1 of the independent homes that is getting cleaned up after the last resident. The staff has been great and the unit itself has some nice updates to it.

Good Tree Stephenville is a wonderful Assisted Living facility. It is very clean and kept in great condition. The staff is very friendly and work hard. My mother is in a wheelchair and likes to travel the corridors independently to get exercise. The staff will always offer her help, if she wishes. And sometimes she excepts the offer if she is tired. She can eat in the dining room or the staff will bring her meals to the room. Mom was so excited to move there because of the amount of monthly activities. Each day is filled from 9am to 6pm and Mom loves to get the activities calendar and decide what she wants to do each day. What impresses me the most about Good Tree, is their focus on protection of the people living there. They treat the people, staying there, like it is their own family and protect them like they are their family. In fact, what I have experienced in the past few days, I consider the Good Tree staff my family! The Good Tree rooms are very nice. What I really like, is every room not only has a door from the interior hallway, but also a door to the outside with a neat little patio. The best part, my Mom loves it there!! She also loves the staff working there. She feels very safe there. And she loves the Movie Popcorn they make everyday. I would definitely recommend Good Tree. I am so glad I found them!!

Good Tree was clean. The rooms were good and the place seemed nice. The staff were knowledgeable and knew what they were talking about. They have nurses on staff, three meals a day, and they would try to get you up and do different activities.

Good Tree was a good facility. It was like a home. You got your own apartment and it was very nice. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. They had a library and transportation, too.

Overall services reviewed would receive 80% satisfactory. Considerations were from housekeeping, food service, physical (healthcare) help, social activity availability, etc. Care from admin staff and nursing staff is good.

My mom has moved into Good Tree, and it's very clean, friendly, and a safe place. The common area is very big so they can go in and do their exercises or activities. The dining room looks very safe, clean, and accessible for all the residents. She is comfortable, and I'm happy with the staff. She feels safe with the staff because they're not demeaning or mean in any way. She has a door that goes outside her room, so it's very nice.

They were very friendly and helpful at Good Tree. They treated me with respect. The building was nice and all on one floor. They had 30 residents there, so it was not really a big place. The rooms were a nice size. There was one resident per room. It was a nice, quaint community. The living atmosphere was very pleasant. They had supervised activities. The dining room looked clean, bright, airy and spacious. The dining area was not fancy, but it was clean, spacious, and smelled nice. The place wasn't brand new or sparkly, but it was a nice place to live.

We selected Good Tree for my parents. It's very clean. The staff has been very attentive and takes good care of my parents. The food is excellent. There are good choices, the quality is very good, and the appearance is really clean. I've observed people playing cards and bingo, and they also had a Thanksgiving meal where the families were invited.

Good Tree has lots of trees around it and has a very nice entrance. The dining room is nice and a room where you can come in and visit. They have 1-bedrooms and studios. The memory area is behind closed doors. They have a place in the entrance rooms where they have TVs but they don't have movies. There were two people who met us because the lady who was going to take us on the tour wasn't there yet, and the one who took us on the tour was new, but the staff was nice. The facilities and rooms were nice.

I picked Good Tree. I like it because I can afford it and it is independent. There are little duplexes, not rooms inside of a big building. If you need them, assisted care and memory care are in the same facility. It's a small town, so you can get around really easily. The facility has everything I want. The person there was really nice and helpful.

It's on top of my list because it's independent and then being able to transition into assisted. All the rooms and everything were just super nice. I would give Good Tree an A rating, and I would want to recommend them to anybody. I was really blown away with their facilities. The whole setup was just really great. By just looking at everything, it was just exceptional. In their independent living, they were all two bedrooms with a two-car garage, a big living room that transitioned into a dining room and then the kitchen. It had a full sized bath and the half bath off of one bedroom. They had a one-bedroom, and it was fantastic too. Every room has their own little individual patio, and the rates were so reasonable.

Friendly staff. Need to hire more employees. Sometimes care lacking due to being under staffed. Too much turnover. Those that work there work very hard and try to do their best. They have family dinners and special events once a month to go with that month's feature.

Very well kept facility but very poorly staffed. I was invited to a "brunch" at the facility and was very dissatisfied because one of the kitchen aides was supposed to be at the front serving but they weren't, someone had to go find her. As I was waiting, I was looking at Christmas decorations; when the kitchen aide got there, I was still looking and she kept trying to hurry me over to where the food was, even going so far as to shove it in my face. I wouldn't recommend this facility to my worst enemy.
