My mom moved to Asher Point Independent Living of Sherman. Everybody there is super active and super nice. Everybody has greeted her with welcome open arms. The staff has bent over backward to meet her requirements. The food is great. There's a gym. There's a salon and all kinds of activities all the time. They plant gardens in the garden space outside. They have ice cream socials. When we were moving mom in, they had a snow cone social. The activities are awesome. They are community members-led and not staff-led. So the community members have taken the lead on all of that, and the staff helps with purchasing the equipment that they need or any help that they may want. My mom was at the other community which was $3500 a month. When she moved over here it was $2000 a month, and there were more activities and more to do. The food's better, the staff is better, and all around is better for my mother.

It was a nice place. The studio that I saw was also very nice. It had a partition, not a full wall, but a half wall that the sleeping area was off on. They got very nice grounds and everybody was very responsive. Their exercise area was lacking though and the food was not very good. It's just heavy carbs and I'm not into it, but they have good people around.

I moved in and like it. It's very nice, and everyone I talk to who lives here likes it. I have an apartment and get three meals a day. We have a chef, and the meals are good. They have exercise classes, an exercise room, and a lot of activities.

I was impressed and the staff seemed very good. I didn’t get to talk to Paige, who probably could have given us more information than the people we talked to, but they showed us around and told us about the facility. The grounds and location were very good. There were large, nice rooms and apartments, which was important to us. We were there on Thanksgiving Day and had some food with them, which was of good quality.

It was very nice but my mother decided that it wasn’t what she wanted. The staff was very good and very helpful. The rooms were very attractive. They had all kinds of activities.

We put my mom in here. It’s beautiful in the way it is laid out in the individual apartments. The staff is awesome. They have a calendar of events and three full-time chefs.

It is a wonderful place, like living in the White House or something. The staff and living quarters were excellent. The dining room was really big and beautiful with lots of tables. The meals were really good. It was just very nice. They had a game room and provided transportation to bring the residents where they want to go.

We visited, and everything went really well. The staff was nice, and anybody that I interacted with was good. The rooms were average. They aren't really big, however, they're good and clean.

I like it a whole lot. The facility is very clean, and the people were very nice. The only thing I didn't like is there is only one main elevator, and there is a very long walk from the rooms to that elevator. The dining room was very clean and pretty, and the menu looks great. They have a hair salon.

Me and my wife liked it very much. We wanted to move in there but we are not that old yet. It was a top notch facility. The staff was very good and everybody was pretty happy. The staff would call the residents by their first names. The place is extremely clean and it looked like a 5-star downtown hotel.
