My husband is at San Juan Nursing Home. I'm very pleased that I chose it. He gets good care. My husband has been there for six weeks now. He gets therapy. There are church services there. They have activities. The nursing staff and the staff are very, very helpful and personable. It's always clean. My husband has windows. In his case, he is blind, and they're very respectful of his blindness. He is on the feeding tube, so he doesn't eat their food. But I have seen it on the plates. It's very pleasing to look at. It has a good presentation.

San Juan Nursing Home is the only religious non profit in the area. I have had family members and friends live there at different times. Nursing staff really care. Although it is not required for residents to bathe daily, here at this nursing home residents are bathed daily. They also have a activities like bingo, laughing yoga, daily exercise ect...there is something going on every day. They also have a Chaplain that offers religious services every day and in room visits. The Dietary department cooks the resident's meals inhouse. They try to meet the resident's likes and dislikes. I recommend everyone that is looking to place their loved one, to please visit San Juan Nursing Home before making a decision. God bless you.

I don't have any idea how their care is. I called them to see if a relative was there and they said they cannot give that information over the phone. I wanted to go visit him since his condition worsened. They told me to call his family. If I had known their numbers, I would have called them. I am a relative...I can very well imagine if a friend (that only knows him w/out the family) would try to see him. I also asked them if they were the only nursing home in San Juan, and they said they didn't know. Not very helpful, at all.
