My parents will be moving into Rock Ridge Assisted Living & Memory Care. They have a doctor visit twice a week that comes to the facility and they can make appointments with it versus having to leave the facility to go. The residents were pretty happy, and it was nice, clean, and updated nicely. Overall, it's a good place to be. The staff seems very good, too. They have an activity calendar. They have different levels of care based on what their needs are. Of course, they encourage people to be as independent as possible, and that was one of the things we were looking for, making sure that my parents stayed independent and that they felt like they had their own space or their own home. The staff was very, very helpful and knowledgeable. The assessment that they did seem to be very appropriate.

I went to look at Rock Ridge Assisted Living & Memory Care. The lighting there is horrible. It was extremely dark and very depressing. The facility is kind of like a nursing home. The residents appear to be much older. The staff members were very nice, helpful, and answered questions. The residents were playing bingo when we arrived there. The rooms were very dark. Overall, it's an old facility.

We visited Rock Ridge Assisted Living & Memory Care. The director there was very nice and very knowledgeable. They do assisted living, but they also have more in the way of memory care, but we were only interested in senior living, not assisted living. He offered to show us the rooms, but we chose not to because we'd just be wasting his time. It's a newer community than the other place I toured, so it was nice, very clean, and modern.

Rock Ridge Assisted Living & Memory Care was clean, and I didn't see anything that was significantly out of place. The staff sat there and helped everybody if they needed it. Nothing's completely perfect, but the place was clean, and the amenities seemed well taken care of. The salesperson was very helpful and answered all my questions. I got to meet some of the staff there, too, and they seemed to be polite. Everything was really easy. The halls weren't narrow, it's easy to get in and out, and the doors were relatively easy to open. They had nice amenities, as far as the closets and room options. Overall, it was well kept.

Rock Ridge was a really nice place and it's well kept. The restaurant was really pretty. They put out the food so you can look at it and it looked really good. It's very pretty on the inside. They just did not have a room for Mom. They had one, but she would have had to go into the memory care section for a while until something came up and she wasn't interested in that. They have a theater, a game room, a very nice indoor courtyard, a restaurant that's very pretty with tablecloths and folded napkins, a bistro, and ice cream. It looked like a five-star hotel. It's an elegant place.

Rock Ridge was amazing and our first choice, but the location was not good for us. It's incredibly homey, clean, perfect for that age group, and very inviting. The staff member was amazing, informative, and kind. She was great, very real, and less of a sales person than any of the others. We saw the activities in the schedule. It's incredible.

We were very impressed with Rock Ridge. The place was lovely and clean. They were friendly, but my mother wanted more living space, and their rooms were small.

Rock Ridge was very nice. There was a group there playing cards and a group of ladies working on some flowers. It was a very nice place. Everybody had individual room. They had morning coffee with a group. They said they did different activities throughout the day. They try to keep the residents busy with all sorts of different things.

Rock Ridge Assisted Living & Memory Care is fairly new, about 2 years old, and it's very bright and colorful. The front of it looks like the Ponderosa. They have quite a bit of staff and they have a great cafeteria that's set up like most memory care and assisted living and it's clean. People are allowed to have pets. The only issue was not having a place. They take a deposit on apartments or rooms, but they don't have a place which is a little bit of a frustration for me. I waited weeks and months to get a room, but they didn't have it and it took me over a month to get my refund back, and that's with calling every day and going up there, which is ridiculous. But the place is very well laid out, they have memory care on one side and assisted on the other, and they have a huge area where they can garden and plant flowers, an activity room, an exercise room, and a beauty salon. It's a very nice place.

Rock Ridge was good. The facilities were attractive. The people seemed to be well-qualified. It was a quality facility. The apartments and closests were small. The two-bedroom units were attractive in size, though. The staff appeared to be friendly and professional. The dining area was attractive. It appeared to me that the security was quite adequate. The overall experience was quite positive.

Rock Ridge was friendly to the residents. They took time with me. The place was very updated and nice. It had a lot of amenities. They were playing games with them when I was there. They had an activities room where they do stuff. They had an ice cream machine and all kinds of stuff for them.
