We are living in Arabella of Red Oak. So far, it's been good. We enjoy it. The staff members are very friendly, and they provide for our needs. The facility is about three years old, but the condition is good. The maintenance people are friendly. You put a request in, and they get it done. So far, we've not had a bit of a problem with the facility. The food is good. They have a sewing club, a workout room, and a salon. It's got everything we'd need.

Arabella of Red Oak was beautiful. The design and everything was immaculate. The staff was very, very helpful. The young lady that I spoke with was Fatima. She and I sat down for a total of one hour. She explained everything to me regarding requirements, and what they do for the residents, and then showed me around. They had so many things for them to do. Overall, I was just very appreciative of how Fatima treated me, how she welcomed me, and how she was willing to help me, even if it turned out that we couldn't place my father there, but if things could have worked out for us financially, we would have chosen that one. The facility was very welcoming. It almost reminded me of a resort in the way that they were treated because the residents there, for instance, when it's time to go to dinner, it's like going to a restaurant. They have a drink order and just different things like that. It made you feel as if you were in a hotel or a fancy restaurant at dinnertime.

My mother had to move to hospice care from Arabella. She is due a reimbursement of over one month's billing. I have called Arabella for one month now. The director and the Business manager refuses to return my call.

Arabella of Red Oak was an awesome place. I was looking at their little efficiency, which was about 400 square feet, and it was very roomy. They get a lot of activities and a lot of different rooms for different types of activities. If you want to do arts and crafts, there is a special section for that. They had a theater room and a private dining area. So, if you wanted to bring your family, you could reserve this dining room and you could have private dining with your family. It's probably about three years old and it's very well taken care of and very well maintained. They have chefs that prepare the meals and they give the other residents a selection of meals during the service. So if you go down for breakfast, you give your choices of what you want.

My grandmother has moved into Arabella of Red Oak. The staff gave us a tour of the facility and showed us all of the different rooms and activities and stuff that they have for the residents. She showed us where they eat and showed us how they have a chef that prepares the meals for everybody. We went to one of the studio rooms. It's like just an open room and it has a bathroom and a little kitchenette and she likes it. It's pretty spacious. She has a bed, a sofa, and some chairs. She likes it because she doesn't have a whole house to worry about. They had a bunch of different floorplans. We saw one that has a bedroom and a living area and then a studio that we went with. They have a little gym that they can utilize, a TV room, a game room with puzzles and stuff like that, an activity room where they'll do arts and crafts, and a common area where there are coffee and snacks and stuff like that. They have a courtyard where they can go outside. They have different people that will come in during the week to give them some other activities to do. Every person that I've ever dealt with has been nice for the most part, specifically, the care staff. Fatima was nice and helpful. The care staff has been really sweet. I've asked my grandma multiple times, and she said that everybody has been very, very sweet to her. She says the food is really good. It's a nice facility. It was expensive, but I think that it's worth it and my grandma seems to appreciate it. It is very costly, but it makes sense for it to cost so much because they get so much for it.

I toured Arabella of Red Oak for my father-in-law, and it was fabulous. The grounds are just beautifully laid out. It's a huge place. It's open only for less than a year, so it's brand new. They have cottages that are bigger than my own home and the apartments were beautiful. They have an Echo in the room that he could call "Hello, Alexa. Can I call the front desk?" He can say "Hello, Alexa. What are the activities for today?" and all the activities come through the Alexa. They will mount your TV on the wall for you, too. It has the independent living outside of the building (like the cottages), and it has independent living inside the building (like the apartments). Then it has assisted living also inside the building. It's just absolutely beautiful, but it's a little pricey. They have a beautiful dining area. They also have an outdoor pool, which I think is too harsh in Texas for a 93-year-old person to be out in that heat. They have a library, a movie room, and a workout place. You're allowed to have your home health care coming in. They have a nice workout room for physical therapy. It's just that the pool was outdoors; I wasn't so happy about that. That's the only thing is that I wish they had an indoor option. They checked our temperature. We had to sanitize our hands, and we had to sign in. It's just a state-of-the-art retirement village.

Arabella of Red Oak is absolutely beautiful. If we had the money, I would have signed a contract right then and there. The cottages were just well done, and they used all the best materials such as granite countertops and beautiful carpeting. The kitchens and the bathrooms were so well appointed. The staff seemed very, very welcoming. Everybody that we met was saying 'hello', and 'have a great day' and things like that. They seemed to be caring and kind. We saw one of the apartment homes that they have. It still was the same thing: granite countertops, gorgeous bathrooms, and just really, really nice. They also have different menus every day and you can order whatever you want. They seemed to have a lot of activities that I would be interested in like bingo, crafts, and stuff like that. We are just not able to see anything going on while we were there.

We went to Arabella of Red Oak. It was wonderful. The facility was immaculate. The staff seemed very attentive and helpful, and the lady that gave us the tour was extra nice. Cleanliness was excellent. The facility was basically brand new. It was like looking at a brand-new hotel. They explained what the staff does to entertain the residents. They had crafts and different kind of activities, and you could tell that the staff was very attentive to the residents' needs.

I will move into Arabella of Red Oak probably sometime in February. It's very beautiful, it's brand new, they're very nice people, they're friendly, and they offer a lot. I'm moving into independent living. They have all kinds of activities, they have three meals a day, and they have a swimming pool. The apartments are nice and roomy where I'm moving in. It's brand new, no one's lived there yet because they haven't filled it up yet, and I'm looking forward to it. They have more than one variety, some smaller, some bigger, and they have two or three different types. The staff was very friendly, outgoing, and helpful. They were wonderful; everybody I dealt with was very nice.
