SilverMark Memory Care was very nice. I just thought they were very attentive and helpful. It was clean and it seemed like a nice place for my mom to be. The staff members were very nice and helpful. I liked the facility but the rooms were a bit small.

This place is NOT licensed. In less than a year, 12 residents died that I know of. In October/November, 2019 timeframe, at least 5 residents moved out. Residents needing to go to hospital were sent to different hospitals to avoid any one hospital from realizing what was going on. At the time we left, the only nurse there was the Executive Director who spins a wonderful yarn. The staff is NOT trained & medication was often not given, or not given correctly. 3 untrained so-called Med-Techs we’re trying to put my loved one from a wheelchair to a hospital bed & all 4 fell in a heap onto the railing on the bed in front of my eyes. The next day I came back & discovered very important medication was ordered NOT to be given because an order was not in place. The only problem with that was I had a picture of the order as it was given to Silvermark. Funny how that order disappeared from the file for a couple of days. My loved one was in the hospital for 10 days & rehab for 6 weeks. Need I say more?

SilverMark Assisted Living had a strong odor in front of the sales office and the executive director's office. The facility seemed a bit dated and needed some updating. The staff was excellent and went above and beyond to try to meet the residents' needs. They had them out doing activities, but it didn't look lively enough to me.

Silvermark Assisted Living was very professional. There were three different people that sat down and visited with me. They wanted to know a lot of history about my parents and what their needs would be. They said that they could come up with a great plan to help them live a full life. They were very impressive. It's a beautiful building, everything in there was nice, clean, and well kept, and all the residents were dressed well and well taken care of. My husband said the food was great. We discussed memory care, but they thought they could help my parents in the assisted living section without the use of the memory care. They have a full schedule of activities, they have physical therapy rooms, and a pool. It's very expensive, but well worth it.
