My mother moved in at Auberge at Plano. I like it a lot so far, the staff is very friendly, they seem very attentive and they have really well thought out and well-planned activities that are age-appropriate for seniors and all cognitive levels. So I've been very happy with their planning process so far. Her apartment is fairly spacious. It's pretty updated, I'm happy with the size, and the layout, and the furniture that they provided. They have a nice outdoor area that's fenced and it's large. They're covered patio areas to sit in, there are outdoor sunlit areas to sit in, they have a small playground for children to visit, and they have a garden.

Auberge at Plano is a nice facility. It was very, very nice. It was clean, it looked very safe, and you could tell that they keep the memory care residents separate from the assisted living residents. The staff was very nice, from the reception on to when I talked to the person in charge of giving me the tour. The dining area was very clean, very nice. There were so many people watching TV. Some of them were in a group doing something, some type of craft. But most of the residents were sleeping, whether they were memory care or assisted living, because it was right after lunch. The room was clean. It had a nice layout. It was well-maintained. The staff member was fantastic. He was wonderful, he was absolutely great. He was real patient, and he gave me his time. He wasn't rushing me and he answered all my questions; great people skills.

Everything was excellent at U.S. Memory Care of North Dallas. They place people into three different levels so your loved one will be with people on the same level of the disease. I would rather have a mixture so that the people who are new on the disease are very helpful to every one else. My wife is in her 7th year so she can’t speak very well, and if she is a situation where everybody else is like her, I wouldn’t care for that, but other than that, it’s a nice place. It’s very new, very upscale, very neat, clean, and well run. I have nothing bad to say.

U.S. Memory Care of North Dallas had some good activities and a good level of care. I was impressed with the building inside, but their food was just horrible. I was able to eat there a couple of times, and it was cold and not prepared right.

US Memory Care of North Dallas was a beautiful facility, but I didn't get the homey feeling that I was looking for. I didn't feel the care was individualized. It looked like a country club. They had what they called a "town section." It's an interesting location.

My mom is a resident of U.S. Memory Care North Dallas in Plano. The rooms and apartments there are very nice. The whole community is very good and clean. I wanted something that was really nice for my mom's health. She needed a place with a really good accommodations. More than anything, I picked this place because of their accommodations. They have a good staff. Their food is fair, and the presentation is good. However, my mom doesn't doesn't like the food sometimes. Their dining area is very nice. Each level of care has its own section of the dining room. There are a lot of windows looking out to the outside and garden area. They even have various activities to stimulate the brain. I would absolutely recommend this facility.
