We spend a great deal of time assisting residents with personal care and the daily routines can become more meaningful when we are making sure we are using sensitivity and creativity to create the special Personal Care Moment. To learn more about this providers license and review other available state reports, please visit: Texas Long-Term Care Provider Search

I visited this facility

Arbor Hills Memory Care Community was an excellent place, and they offered us an excellent deal. Everything was good, but we had a deadline of one month to do it, and we didn't. It's extremely well appointed, very nice, and very clean. They take precautions for Covid right at the door. They give you a good tour of the place. The staff was very personable. I really liked her. I'm going to try to (if we go back there) deal with her going forward. They have different activities. They have a bus that takes you places, but that's not for my dad. The one thing that they have that my daughter and I liked is they have a couple of different rooms where the residents might meet up, sit around, and visit. One or two of the rooms, the family can reserve and celebrate their loved one's birthday or a holiday. I think it's two hours at a time. The room is free, and they'll prepare it. You can buy the food from them for the meal that you're going to be serving or you can bring in your own. They don't charge you if you need the room or with the help that they give you in serving. It seemed nicer than any place else.

I visited this facility

Arbor Hills Memory Care was not that good. I met the sales director. I was not impressed with the building and the inside of it. The rooms were fairly big but sort of dull. It was not bright or sunny, so that did not give me a good impression.

Provider Response

Here at Arbor Hills Memory Care Community, we appreciate your feedback and touring with our Director of Community Relations. We hope she was able to provide you with enough information and insight to make an important decision for your loved one. Our community is not for everyone, but we love to hear that you thought our rooms were big. There is the opportunity to decorate, and hope that was conveyed to you during the tour. We will address with our maintenance staff any lighting issues. We wish you the best of luck in your community pursuits, and you may always reach out to us for any additional questions or comments.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

Arbor Hills is 100% memory care, and the staff is tuned in and completely understand how to care for people with Alzheimer’s and dementia. It was a family owned business, and I have really good relationships with people that run the place. My mom has a nice, clean room with her own bathroom and plenty of room for storage and furniture. The food looks really nice and is served in regular plates. They have activities all day long like ball toss and Bingo, and they had an outing the other day.
