We were most impressed with Meredith Court. My mother was there for 5 or 6 years, and she passed away in September of last year. They were extremely caring staff and were very knowledgeable. It's a very clean place. The food was great. It was a nice place to put her in. All the rooms or suites run in a square around a courtyard that is fully enclosed. So, they had access to be outside, and they had little raised gardens for them to plant. They had plenty of parking there. It was laid out nicely. The dining area was in the front of the building. It was large and very comfortable with easy access to the kitchen area. They also had a family room that anyone could reserve for a family gathering with the residents. They could have taken their meal there or just to be separated from the main feeding area. They have a very active activities director who is a very loud person (because she talks to people who are hard of hearing daily). They play bingo at least twice a week. She brings in local musicians to play and they have singalongs. They had a lot of games that helped with manual dexterity and hand coordination. She works with them a lot with that. They also had puzzles, games, and a library. They have 24- hour nursing staff, too. The food was very nutritious. Portions were generous for elderly people. They had a full kitchen staff and families were allowed to eat with the residents and it was very good. The facility was very well-kept. As far as outdoors, the lawns were well-kept and the bushes were trimmed. As residents come and go, the rooms are repainted as needed. So, they kept it up that way I would keep it up if I was in charge of it. Their prices were in line with other places that we checked at the time and it was reasonable given the level of care that my mother had.

The people here were very knowledgeable, very concerned, and caring. They tried to be as helpful as they could be in every way by advising different systems we might go through. They showed their dining and living areas and they were very, very nice. They provide transportation to their residents to take them to stores or shopping or just out on an outing. They had everything that anyone could want.

My mom is here. The staff has been very good and helpful. They take good care of my mother. The food has been good. So far everything has been OK. The service has been good and they check on my mother nine times a day. The place is very comfortable and well-maintained. They play Bingo, scrabble, and all kinds of games.
